Chapter Twenty-Seven

Shannon’s POV

Cole left me to spend the rest of the day in the quiet room while I sorted out the new information I had just learned and tried to process everything that had happened over the past couple of hours, it was a lot for me to take in and my head was still reeling from the shock of what had just happened.

During my stay there, I had contemplated going back to where we once used to live to regain my sanity but something stopped me. The sheer luxury in the mansion and all of the gifts that just kept coming my way on account of Alpha Robin and my mother made sure that I didn’t leave.

Cole had done the same thing as well, there were so many things, so many clothes in the closet, a host of servants waiting for my call, and a letter that told me that he was going to be with me shortly.

It was becoming difficult to contain the excitement bubbling inside of me and at the same time, I was wary but if there was anything I wanted to do right now, it was to share this news with my moth
