There were thousands of thoughts running through my head, making me unable to focus. Samil's words, saying that I was the one person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, kept ringing in my ears. I wondered if he said them honestly, or if he merely wanted to force Camilla to give up on him. I wished I could know what was inside his heart. At that moment, my faith in him, and his affection towards me was poisoned by my anxieties.
“What will happen when I finally get rid of my magic? Will Samil become cold towards me? Will he act like he did when we met… or even worse than that?” I wondered restlessly.
