The next day was truly hectic. After watching Patricia's confession that Mr. Romero recorded, the police sent Luca Borda's arrest warrant. Additionally, Asher handed the police his mother's account books, where she wrote down a full list of bribes and other illegal transactions. It was obvious that with charges as strong as she had, she would certainly try to pass at least some of her blame onto Luca Borda. Obviously, Samil was counting on it.
As soon as Luca's arrest warrant became official, Luca ran away, taking a few valuable objects from the mansion with him. Luckily, he didn't have any cash prepared in advance, and with all his accounts frozen it was unavoidable for him to be captured in a short time. Delia didn't waste her time and filed for divorce. She certainly tried to get as much from her husband as possible while he still had any money.
