Chapter thirty-eight

“Kelly’s POV”

I know they didn’t believe on me and I don’t care, I couldn’t afford to waste time, I run even though I have no other plan on how I can get my friend from him. I followed the direction he passed carefully so he won’t know I am following him, I turn to the left and lift in the elevator as I pressed the ground floor.

I waited till the door slide open, I hurriedly called the security to stop the person riding in an elevator. “You can’t get away from me, Diego, let’s see,” I am smirking while waiting for him to get out of the lift as the security are guarding the door.

“This is it,” I focused my gaze on the door as it slid slowly but… I was taken aback when another person showed up.

“Where is he?” I can’t believe it happened, I searched the elevator to see where he went but there’s nothing in the lift. I turned my gaze around the lobby and searched for him till I spot him outside riding in a van… with Mia?!!!

“M—My friend is alive!” I muttered as I saw her sitting on a wheel
