"Wait! Sto…" Maru's voice halted after he felt a wet tongue languidly caress the open wound on his left hand. The feeling was so intense that he closed his eyes for an unknown amount of time. And when he opened them again, a pair of beautiful orbs gazed back at him. The fog that covered her face was no more and Maru saw an angel like no other. Her fragrance spread and unknowingly affected the little brother of the only male in the area.

"I can heal on my own, noble heroine!" Maru hastily worded and turned around with his back facing the woman. He tried to hide the sprouting tree that had vertically stretched to its limit. The dazzling clothes he wore were quite loose that helped him cover his embarrassment. Maru was thankful for this small lucky break.

"There was a man earlier who talked to my sister, Uwyn. You'll get to know her later. The man was strange. And he seemed to be investigating this area. I want you to capture him for me, Fade." Maru said his wishes towards the attractive woman who asserted to be his slave. This was the only thing he could think of that could help him get rid of the woman and at the same time satisfy his curiosity on the identity of that unusual man. He was throwing one stone to hit two targets. Maru smiled because he was pleased with his brilliant idea. He congratulated himself to no end."As you wish, Sire!" Fade responded immediately and then faded out of view."Fade?" Maru took one peek behind him and released the

"I would like to sit down and answer those questions, Master Lukas. But I cannot make my master wait for long. Will you go with me peacefully or not?" Fade replied to the series of enquiries that affronted her."There is no need to play games, Fade. Get me to follow you if you can." Lukas answered back and closed his eyes in meditation. He had tried all there was possible but this barrier just won't budge an inch. So conserving his reserves was a better choice than wasting it at pointless struggles."SIZZZZZZ!" the shimmering beams of the translucent prison swelled in one grandiose flash before it totally dwindled and was gone from the scene."It seems like I was wrong in my assumption. "That's how it all turned out to be, mom." were the final words of Maru after he told his mother everything about the things that had happened earlier that day. He told her to save the fate of those two assassins and his new friend, Fade. Those were something he could never tell to his family. Maru would take his sins to the grave. It was better this way, he convinced himself."You should be careful next time, Maru. Don't abuse these gifts that you were given." Olivia reminded her son about the things that should not be forgotten. She couldn't help but worry about the reason for the attack. Why those noble heroes would suddenly kill the people in Scavenger's Haven. Did they offend a powerful cultivator? She thought in the end."I will, mom." Maru assured his mother. The g

"Ahhhhh... Ohhhhh..." the language of love resonated within this place of secret. The two that shared these forbidden moments showered each other with unrestrained longing. Every caress was filled with lusty intentions to fulfill the needs of the flesh. One drop was never enough for them to be sated. The constraints that bound them have finally been released. For this day belongs only to them. Two souls that had wanted to share lifetimes together until time would know neither beginning nor end. But this was simply not to be."Let us run away from here, darling." the husky voice of a man echoed after their hours of savoring the sweetness of something that could never be theirs."And go where, Jomal? There will be no sanctuary to be had. We will be chased like rabbits and o

"But you are special, my dear disciple. As I'd told you before, you were meant for something more. This man you think you love right now would be a pathetic worm compared to the one who will come in time. I loved you like my own and so I allowed for this to happen. In order for you to experience what love feels and how it could change everything for a woman. But you have taken the last straw of my indulgence." the lady declared and looked at Jomal with an amused smile masking her face."BOOM!" the ground cracked when an object fell to its hard landings."NOOOO!" the woman exclaimed in grief. Tears mapped her face when she witnessed the fate of Jomal. The bones were torn into a disfigured clutter. And his agony was only beginning when the fragmented osseous matter was forc

His temper almost reached its peak the moment he heard the source of this evil magic. But he reconsidered because he knew she was in the care of The Blind Goddess. What he did was only to rescue the few who still lived and persevered on resisting the effects of the spell. At least this way he could somehow get something positive out of this horrendous situation. These disciples' potential will be limitless."What do we do, Sect Master?" one of the elders of the sect asked after they had fully evacuated the living. They were thankful that The Blind Goddess hadn't continued to vent her anger upon them. The dead were left alone to bury themselves in the spots that they fell."There is nothing we can do. Let's go!" the Sect Master of the Vestal Virgin Sect replied in a chilli

Fade wanted to cry but forced the tears back. If this was her end, she would not want to let her enemy see her break down in defeat."Kill you? Why would I do that? You are my dearest disciple, Fade. You will not die until I tell you to. And if you plan on taking your own life, know that not only this little man belongs to me now. Or don't you remember that you still have a family of your own?" The Blind Goddess reminded Fade."How can you be this cruel?" a pain filled voice answered back. The tears that Fade tried to hold were suddenly released for the world to see. Regrets came together with her guilt. What seemed like a gift from heaven at the start was in fact a venomous snake wrapped in a package made of gold. What Fade thought gave her freedom has instead sealed her

"BOOM!" The coffin shone once and after the light dispersed, the lone figure of the misshapen man rose to his full height, free from the ropes of imprisonment. He was only 4 feet tall with a lot of length longer than the outwardly weak boy in his front."Thank you for your kindness, Your Excellency!" Lukas proclaimed and kneeled in place before Maru."Is there anything the Pinion Family could offer you, Your Excellency?" Lukas asked after his show of worship on his knees. This was absolutely not shameful for him. He would have eaten worms and excrements if that could guarantee a way to life. He was still young and had so much potential. Lukas was wise enough to know how easy life could end in but an instant.

Maru was more than happy to take a break from everything—even from the responsibilities that came with his many wives and his realm-shaking reputation. Escaping into the mortal world for a time was like a breath of fresh air, a rare chance to experience life without the burdens of status and power. As he adjusted to this new identity, Maru sifted through the memories of the young man whose life he now occupied. The memories painted a bleak picture: this young Maru was impoverished, scraping by from a family with little to their name. For someone accustomed to wealth, influence, and resources beyond mortal comprehension, this was, to put it mildly, inconvenient."I’ll have to change that," Maru muttered to himself, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. He strolled down to the nearest gas station, where he purchased a lottery ticket with casual confidence. With a bit of energy concealed within a playful flick of his finger, he ensured that fate would work in his favor. A week la

A trillion years had passed, and Maru had truly ascended to the highest plane of existence, becoming the undisputed master of the multiverse. He had mastered every grand dao, and his name was whispered across countless realms as the supreme ruler. The laws of reality bent to his will, and even the flow of time itself was nothing more than a tool for his amusement. The past, present, and future were his to shape as he saw fit, and the myriad daos—once elusive and untamable forces—had become his loyal servants, bowing at his feet.No corner of existence was beyond his reach. Universes rose and fell on his whims, stars burned bright and were extinguished with a mere thought, and entire civilizations either flourished or crumbled at his command.Maru's power was absolute, his authority unmatched, and yet, after countless eons of this existence, he found himself feeling something he had not anticipated—boredom. He had seen it all, lived through it all. In a mystical world within the body of an immortal, a great ruckus was happening. “Master! It has appeared once again!” A good disciple knelt on the floor. He prostrated before his teacher which had given him his everything in short. This very man had saved him in the past and until this day, he has not forgotten his pledge of allegiance and service to this person. The disciple was content in doing so. He had no ambitions for himself, only to the happiness of his benefactor. To call him a slave was much more fitting than a disciple in this day and age. “Gather all your brothers and sisters. We shall go at once.” An aged man answered with a serious face on him. He was old and full of wrinkles. His age almost to the limit of what could be achieved with his cultivation base. Nevertheless, the majesty of his stance was a perfect picture of what a true powerhouse truly was. This man had been alive on this world for more than one thousand years already. It was both an accomplishment i

“Speak.” An old dying voice replied. His body seemed ancient alongside the timeless aspect of his voice. Perhaps the only consolation that could be found on him today was the quality of his cultivators robes. At first glance alone, anybody that has eyes could easily determine that it was not made of poor materials at all. This old man was of course the master of Dragon Conqueror Pavilion. “There was a group of people looking a specific cultivation manual earlier, master. They wanted Soul Birth Realm training scrolls.” Kong Jin reported. She knew that the implications of her words would not be lost on his smart master. And indeed it was not. “DING!” The old man opened his eyes and one could notice the blazing fire in them. The atmosphere in the room immediately surged up and this has made the beautiful Kong Jin tremble in place. But reaction was not out of fear but surprisingly because of her extreme excitement. He then looked at Ye Jia and nodded at his old man.The latter was a lot more confident and composed than Ye Hanya and it could be seen from this act alone on how Ye Jia became the Patriarch of Ye after all these years. His strong character was only the least of his myriad qualities. “Let’s go, Yin Lan.” Maru called and before long, a beautiful woman p

Maru arrived at the Ye domains. At once glance, he could see that there were more people inside it than when he left. It was obvious that there were more homeless and poor citizens of Whitecrest who chose to seek refuge in the clan. His parents Ye Jia and Ye Hanya knew of their son’s heart and thus gladly accepted to feed and give shelter to these people. From the initial 1,000 hapless souls, the count had already five fold at this time. Fortunately for all, the expense of having these families was too insignificant for the rich Ye family. But if these 5,000 men, women, and children were to be cultivated then that was a whole nother matter entirely. Resources like spirit stones were extremely limited even for a big clan like the Ye. “It’s been two long years, huh?” Maru smiled and began walking in slow steps towards the large
