Chapter 27: Birthday Delights
Selyna’s POV
I was worried when Damian’s smile had fallen, and realizing that my birthday was the anniversary of his mother’s death had been a shock. Now it had been close to an hour and someone had started some music playing while we all mingle with one another. “You are the reason he laughs and smiles, whether you realize it or not” Alpha Sean comes up behind me placing a hand on my shoulder and following my gaze to his son.
I smile sweetly,”I am not sure that all the credit goes to me, but I will admit that his moods are lighter these days.”
Alpha Sean laughs ,” You remind me of Marlene! The way you speak and how you carry…” He gets cut off by a commotion as Starr runs into the room at high speed, crashing into his legs.
