"You see, my mom said that the Lennon family is actually a family of scholars. They're pretty well-known in Whiteloop City.

"But after what happened, Eunice's parents went back to their hometown with her grandfather and never returned," Bailey said.

She thought it was a pity. She'd once been friends with Eunice. She used to stay at the Lennons' during her summer and winter breaks.

She'd been studying abroad when the incident had happened, so she'd been blissfully unaware. She'd only found out about it after she'd gotten back.

"To be honest, I haven't seen her in a long time. It's been around six years," Bailey added.

Lucille was confused. "Don't they visit Moore Manor during Christmas or New Year's?"

Bailey sighed. "Uncle Ian never visited Moore Manor with Eunie. My mom even mentioned that they didn't invite anyone to their wedding.

"It was just the two of them. Her wedding gown was even her sister's." Bailey's nose tingled as she spoke. She pitied Eunice.
