The night dawned, and the Layton family had dinner at Tranquility Court. James had his dinner delivered to his room by Arthur, while the couple stayed overnight at Serenity Court without any issues.

The next morning after breakfast, Spencer and Lucille visited James, who still seemed pale. "Grandpa, why don't we admit you to the hospital? The facilities here are insufficient," Lucille suggested.

Without hesitation, James rejected the idea. "I'm not going to the hospital. I'll stay right here." His tone was stubborn, reminiscent of a child throwing a tantrum.

Arthur smiled and commented, "Madam Lucille, Mr. Layton Senior might prefer staying home because he feels more comfortable and at ease."

Hearing that, James nodded at Spencer and Lucille, leaving them unable to refute.

"You two, go about with your businesses. You don't have to watch over me. We have Arthur here for that." To avoid revealing himself, James quickly urged them to leave, while Arthur nodded in agreement.
