Lucille didn't even bother to blink when William roared at her. She tilted her head and cleaned her ears unconcernedly, as though she weren't the one getting shouted at.

Her indifferent reaction made William even more frustrated. Yet, there was no way he could vent.

After a moment of silence, Lucille lifted her cold eyes at them. She said in an emotionless yet slightly chilling voice, "Originally, I had no interest in Johnson Group's shares. Plus, since I've already gotten my mom's memento back, I did think about returning the shares to you."

Horace's and William's eyes sparkled with joy for a second. Lucille continued, "But I've changed my mind."

Horace's and William's smiles immediately stiffened.

"You—" William burst in anger. He jolted up, pointing his finger at Lucille.

But before he could start screaming at her, her piercing, hostile eyes glared at him, leaving him stunned.

Seeing his fearful expression and how he was hesitant to speak, Lucille chuckled disdainfully.
