Emma: You are pitching your game demo today?

Jeremy: Yeah.

Emma: Good luck then.

Jeremy: Wait, we just left each other like ten seconds ago, why are you texting me this now when you could just have told me?

Emma; Don't TEMPT me.

Jeremy smiled at his phone, walking along the halls, with his assistant trudging behind him, damn, he had really wanted her to tell him that with her fucking incredible mouth, now, all he had was a text, well great then. He could suck that up too!

He pushed the door of the meeting room open, all present people standing up to bow their respect to him. He gave a brief nod- like always, before ambling over to his chair.

Positioning himself, he turned towards one of the directors, "Thank you for having me here today." Even though I would rather be doing something better than this.

They all chirped a smile to him- something he considered weird.

Emma had seen all Jeremy's facial expressions, his bored look, his happy look, his cheeky grin, his irresistible smirk, but never had she seen his gloomy face. She rimmed her hands against the table of the donut shop, staring around the tiny pink decorated shop, breathing in suddenly. The door bursts open, and a figure strides over to her. He looked good even in his suit that hung over his body, his hair seemed perfectly gelled, he looked well, except for the look on his face."Jeremy? What happened?" She stared in plain horror at the way he threw himself unto the chair."Emma," His voice is distressed, he seems to be going through some sort of pain, he ran his hands down his hair, pulling the strands away, "My flashdrive." He paused when the waitress bobbed over to them. What was with the waitress who came at the wrong time?"Thanks, but water will do just fine." Emma gave her a tired smile, she smiled, took one look at Jeremy before passing by. Yep, especially waitresses who gobbled

He knew she didn't like the rain, the way she tensed up whenever she heard the thunder brought a sickening feeling to his heart. He did not like that. She was shaking now. Badly."Emma." He gripped her shoulders lightly, his face probing into hers. He couldn't ascertain the color of her face, pure red. She was.... Sobbing? She was shivering, not shaking, two different things. "Jeremy." Another quiet groan, "It's raining.""I know. I know." He soothed, God, he had no idea how to deal with issues like this, "Come." He pressed her body towards his, cooling her.She clutched his dark jacket, weeping in his chest, "I am scared.""No. Don't be." He sighed, his hands stroking her hair, "I will take you home."Her eyes bobbed over to him immediately, "No!" She yelled. The tears sprawled on her face, she whispered, "I don't want to go home, the rain is bad out there.""It hasn't even started raining." Never had he felt sorry for her before. Emma blinked, forcing the words out of her mouth, standing beside the door were two huge men, like really huge men with those muscles and all, it scared her. She wanted to hide somewhere right now.She did what was unthinkable, she shut the door on them, they tried to say something, but she slammed the door immediately, she could deal with them later.Jeremy.She ran over to him, "Get dressed." She bit her lips in utter shock, her hands rimming through her nails. Oh dear, let someone come to her aid."Why?" He looked so sexy, the towel wrapped around his dry hair. He moved closer. "Why do I need to get dressed?"She smacked his bare chest, which really was composed of lots of muscles. Gosh, so strong, she whimpered in the pain of his totally hard muscles chest and screamed. "My brothers! They are right outside." She should have known better than not to trust that sneaky snail of a sister, Sabrina never kept secrets. Damn. She texted her younger sister last week and told her she offici

Claire took a deep breath and stepped into the restaurant, reminding herself again that she had a nice life, nice sisters, nice everything, and now, it was about to get nicer. Her phone rang loudly, she picked it up, and said gruffly, "Hello, who is this?" She had a damn appointment for lunch scheduled with that man, no one could ruin this for her.Absolutely, No One."Claire!" Her sister's naughty voice shoots straight into her ear. Did she forget to mention that she was a Triplet born into the most wealthy family who took fashion as a really straight deal. Born first, Claire then second Cara, then Claire. The only way the Denver sisters could be recognized was the blonde hair and their pretty sharp green eyes that cut right straight to someone's soul."Are you finally meeting with the man who saved your ass away from your damn shitty boyfriend," Her sister's sharp voice booms in, her sister was not romantic at all, but she was desperate in helping other people's curse word."No curs

Jeremy met up with his brothers, hell, he would never visit them during work hours, but Jason, that guy had texted them asking they meet up.So, he strides into the bakery, his heart still pumping from the last text he received from Emma, she said that she has no idea of who wears that fur.Maybe his brother knows something about it? He doubted on his way towards their seat, as far as he knew, those idiots knew nothing about fashion sense, their fashion senses were as dry as log."Jeremy." He could hear his eldest brother, Edward's voice, "Come here right now."He shrugged, before flopping himself into the seat, acknowledged them before they spank you, so he just gave them a nod. "Jason." He turned towards the eldest, "Edward.""I think you have to tell us everything that's happening," Edward's voice rang into his ears, it's calm with that elder brother warning, but still a part of him scolded Jeremy."Yeah, maybe I would if you start to take me more seriously." The night was undoubtedly quiet, with the shaking of the leaves that were about to sprout towards the floor. The wriggling of the wind that just had to blow the curtains and down onto the room.And. Finally sleep, but sleep wouldn't come, days like this, Emma settled on the balcony chair with her twin brother sipping coke while they chatted away about things that didn't quite matter. But today, here she was, at Jeremy's house, seated, gazing down at the balcony chair while sipping the bottle of coke quietly, it burned so much when she was alone. No brother to make her laugh. And finally there was no Jeremy. It was painful because it was true, she missed his scent. He smelled nice like the combinations of flavors she would definitely have on her ice-cream.Gazing at the dark night sky, she took another sip, another quiet night, and she was undoubtedly painfully.Alone.She stretched her hand letting out a quiet yawn, maybe she should head back into the room and sleep, but her limbs jus

Wait, pause. Rewind then blink. How badly she wanted to do that, but again she didn't have any power, so she settled for frowning with her brows. Her eyes narrowed, "What is this?"His eyes dashed off, slowly he placed the phone on the table. His hands crossed together, something felt unmistakably wrong. "Emma. Please answer me." He croaked out. His voice sounded pained."What? No. Why in the hell would I need to do that?" Her voice shook with anger, first why was he even accusing her of taking his game? Fine, somehow the game ended up in her company. What the fuck? She had nothing to do with that. She crouched closer, but he stared at her with eyes full of pain. "Emma. Just say something."She wanted to part her lips together, yell, at least just say something, but her brain failed her. The ability to generate the words hitched in her throat. And the only thing she could do was blink and shake her head.Damn. Emma. Blinking and waving your head won't do you any good. Moron. Shit.He

She flushed in his embrace, something about it making her already tensed heart to relax. "It's okay." He replied, her frail body pressed against her, "I am here." He breathed in relief, like he regretted everything that happened between them. "I am sorry.""Jeremy." He was strong, really strong, his hands calming her body down, "I am sorry, I swear I don't know what happened-"He cut her off, "Don't apologize Emma. I was the asshole."He sighed against her. His body tensed, and somehow as if he remembered the position they were in, he let go gently, "Are you okay?" His voice is soft and snuggly.God. She had never felt so good."Yeah." Thoughts swirled in her brain, he was staring at her intently, making sure to confirm. His tall body towering over her before he went to the seat. His legs crossed together.Damn, forget about those damn models with blonde hair and a striking face, this man over here was ready to sway the world with his dark hair and sharp eyes.He already swirled her

“Asshole.” Emma stabbed the needle into the hole, then another, and another and now her throat hurt. Her younger sister walked into the living room with only a night robe on, she flicked on the globe and let out a yell when she saw Emma.“Goodness!” She flinched back in surprise, her heart still beating from the shock. “Why are you here?”She stared up at her younger sister, her eyes dried with tears, goodness, she had rushed here last night, and thank goodness that her parents weren’t here, she had jostled the keys into the hole and crawled into the lonely sheets, the only thing she could do was cry herself to sleep.“Do you really stay here all by yourself?” Emma stared at her sister with narrowed eyes. She didn’t know why, but it didn’t feel safe for a fifteen year old in a huge mansion all by herself without any adult supervision.“The housekeeper and the butler are here to keep me company.” Her sister appeared from the kitchen with two mugs of coffee, handing her one, her sister

His eyes glanced around nervously, and when he saw a figure seated on the chair, one hand swiping through her phone, the other clutching a cup of coffee.Sharp jawline, petite cheekbones, pursed lips, it didn’t take two and two to know that it was Avery.“Avery.” He scooped himself towards the seat. She glanced up at him, at first, shock flashed in her iris. “Jeremy?” Her voice felt tightened and stiff. “What are you doing here?”I am here to warn you, he

It was still early in the afternoon.Which reminded her, Peter was supposed to be here an hour ago, she checked her time frowning, they had agreed on 12:30pm, so where in the hell was he?Should she go out and look for him? Jeremy stretched his hand forward, inhaling the sweet and damp smell of the wind in his nostrils. The night wind always fascinates him, he didn't even know what he liked seeing there: Was it the stars that twinkled? Or the moon that lit his face when he thought about his life, but nevertheless, the night was the only thing he looked forward to all the days of his life. His hands trimmed towards the cup of coffee, he didn't know why, but caffeine made his heart jumble away, especially in the dead of the night. It's funny how you could think of someone, wish they were there, and in reality, they were there, right in front of you."Jeremy!" Her voice caught him out of his reality, her lips were pursed in anger, those pretty shoulders almost jabbing towards him, "You haven't said a thing!"Was he supposed to? Because he had nearly forgotten how it was to breathe, because with this woman by his side, he seems to have lost his source of oxygen. Her perfect figure stood high in the night sky

Sis." The moment he said that while grinning, she let the anger subside and pulled him into a hug, he smelled safe, just like when they were kids, whenever they got into a huge fight or were arguing about something, he would just stop and hug her.He always smelt safe."Come on in." It's hard how you can balance being a female CEO without people having to look at you weirdly amongst themselves and whisper. 'What's she doing?' or 'Does she know what she's doing?'Just watching them say those words always brings out some sort of low esteem in her, but after all those years, Emma finally realized that the only way she could get hurt was if she actually paid attention to those things.Today was no day to pay attention to them, because today, she was going to have a nice evening with Jeremy, and they are going to paint. When Emma was in the car with Jeremy on their ride home. She received a text from Avery. At first, she thought it was a normal text from her mother reminding her to wear make-up, or brush her hair or it was just one of those useless advertising ads piling up in her email, but it was Avery. The text was short, yet carried with so much importance.Avery: Hey. Can you come to burger dine if you aren't busy, Jayci would love to meet you.She swallowed the lump that formed in her throat, before gazing out of the window, the building stood in front of her elegantly, 'burgers and dine,' written well in a cold blue font.Something in her heart cracked.
