Dear readers, this is my second book on this platform and I must say I am grateful to be a writer on this platform but unfortunately I am not very confident in my writing nowadays. I request that for everyone who has gotten this far in my book should please review and rate this book and tell me your honest opinion. I plan on submitting this book for Goodnovel's 2020 contest and I want to know which is better. Thank you so much.

The days I spent in my father's house was thirty days and I was grateful I did. The household was secretly in a mess that I had to put everything to order especially with father.

Father didn't want me gone but he had no choice because I was no longer his, I was another man's wife to be but at least he was better. He was sane and much more than the day I had arrived and more ready to help me the problem was...I had deceived father.

I hadn't told him of my little change in plans but ignorance was bliss for someone

Everything was going wrong. Nothing seemed to be going right at all but I wasn't worried. I was okay and I was calm because if you didn't have a flaw in you, you aren't human or wish to be.I expected that Ingrid would be cautious of me after I realised he was smarter than he seemed but I guess you can't expect all brawns to be born without brains though Ingrid is quite a man I would love in my harem but his totally uninterested in woman.Sad but we can't always have what we want.I stayed in the library as I studied battle strategies by generals, deceased who had fought wars, won and defeated.History was an interesting subjected but if it hadn't been for too much numbers and series of events followed shortly after it had been recorded, later generations would have been interested. This just shows that the quality of education is degrading as life gets easier but it matters not to me unless I have need for it.I quite frankly missed Arthur

Today was the day I would wed August. Everything was finally falling into place, I was going to have the life I deserved and no one could stop me not even myself.I smiled weakly as I stared into the mirror that reflected my pretty face. I wasn't one for makeup but on a day like this, it was acceptable. The door opened as I stared at the mirror to see Arthur. He looked handsome in his suit, tailored by the finest seamstress who commented he and his twin were natures of art. How gratifying."You look beautiful my queen." Arthur said as I chuckled softly."Haven't you heard it's bad luck seeing the bride before her wedding?" I playfully asked as Arthur brought his lips to my neck, blessing it with kisses as I leaned closer to his warm lips."Unfortunately for me my love, I don't believe in superstition especially when it comes to a beautiful woman such as yourself." Arthur praised as I giggled before pushing his head away softly."Highly unfor

ArthurI was nervous; we all were.Callisto had to be poisoned on her wedding day though I wondered who could have poisoned her.Her personality was a guarantee for a lot of enemies yet I couldn't wrap my head around anyone who would have chosen her wedding to ride of her.The doctor came out as we all stood side by side. My brother, August approached him with a look of desperation I have not seen in a long time."Is she okay?" August asked as the doctor nodded."She'll live. Do not fret, her blood type resists the ghost eye poison. He just needs a lot of rest." The doctor informed us."Can we see her?" August asked."Well she is your wife so I grant only you permission. She is extremely exhausted so she needs her rest. Excuse me your majesties." The doctor instructed before he left with heavy steps."Thank you all for waiting with me. If Callisto is awake, I will speak of each of you to her." A

I felt great, laying in the sheets, waking up to the handsome face of my husband.August finally had time for me. He was finally here with me and not pleading for a simple man's life.I smiled as I laid my head on his chest, rubbing his chest as he moaned in pain."Good morning my darling husband." I greeted before I placed a chaste kiss on his lips."Good morning Callisto." August moaned as he slowly sat up."What happened?" Something that had the whole palace in utter panic. The king was murdered last night. The shock I was to wake up in the arms of my husband and hear that the king was murdered.August swore he had no hand in it and I believed him but who else wanted the king dead except I; well to the best of my knowledge.I ran quickly to catch up with the meeting but I was temporary delayed by some personal matters.I pushed the doors and a questionable silence broke as all eyes went on me before I walked confidently to my husband's side.I placed a chaste kiss on his cheeks before I sat down at the round table with members of the council as well."As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted..." Father paused as his eyes went towards me while I glared at him. "The king was poisoned by a suspicious woman who fled his corners before he was found. Waking up with August by my side was an affair I looked up to every morning. Marriage was a wonderful thing once the partners started to see the arrangement outside a prison. I wanted to see Arthur, I wanted to know if he was alright but he was under house arrest and the only time we saw was for meals and when they are escorting him.Luckily Alexander and I has been buying time for the case since the evidence to convict Arthur is small but solid.Apparently Arthur had slept with the whore who had his father killed a night before his father’s death. His alibi wasn’t strong enough with barely witnesses or anyone bold enough to defend him. They also claim that they found the prostitute but she had killed herself before they could locate her with nothing but a half written to Arthur saying she did it for him.It was a tough nut to crack especially since Arthur had slept with her. I was infuriated with the idea but his punishment for that can come after we have dealt with the bigger picture…finding a new scapegoat.

“Queen Callisto, you have to leave!” Ruby, my trusted maid informed me of the impending danger in the wee mornings of the day.“What is wrong?” I asked as she gathered a few of my things together.“King Arthur knows about your pregnancy and he wants to terminate your child’s existence.” Ruby explained as she picked some warm clothes for me to change and a long hood.“What about my children?!” I asked in panic.“I tried to get them but his majesty seems to have predicted that you will take them and has their room heavily guarded. He is on his way to find you and I don’t know how long your loyal subjects can stall him.” Ruby explained as she handed me the clothes.“I placed the letter you wrote for future emergencies somewhere Prince Tristan and Lord Archer will find

“You are with child.” The midwife said as I rolled down my sleeves after she had examined me.I have been feeling a little light-headed and sick with an unusual appetite for someone of my nature. I suspected I was pregnant after having two of my own but I needed confirmation.“Thank you. You must not speak of my pregnancy to any soul or I will have your head.” I informed her as the midwife nodded.“Of course your majesty.” The midwife bowed before she took her leave. My hand went to my stomach as a soft smile pasted on my lips on the fact I was carrying Darius heir in my womb.

The road to D'Akar was not a days journey as I and Darius rode together to his country home.I was adamant know not going but Darius is very good at spiking my interest and instigating agreements in a passive person which is why I was riding with him."Your husband does not worry you go to another city especially with a stranger he has never met?" Darius asked as I chuckled."He does. However, I am far too independent and resilient to be docile and a good wife." I replied as he laughed."Then you must be a terrible mother." He said as I shook my head."I barely travel and I wasted most of my time raising my children. I am trying to train their mind to be independent from me or unnecessary attachment won't let them grow." I replied as I moved closer to Darius. "Also, I don't like being tied to one man especially when my heart isn't his."Darius satared at my lips and chuckled before he shook his head in disbelief."You really are a str

Today was the festival of spring and as the royal family we were expected to attend.Darius left Westoros a few days ago and now I'm left feeling lonely when no one is there to attend my sexual needs.I stood in a beautiful floral dress and a floral crown, crafted carefully by my children and a few servants and wore with pride.Westoros was so close to perfection and I was happy I was alive to witness the transformation of a poorly rules country in the hands of slothful and disgusting pigs for rulers.Music played, people danced as my husband and my son waved to the people who cheered.I smiled and winked, mostly toward the whores from the brothels I visited as they waved back or smiled charmingly.I supposed they liked my gifts from Palin.Thinking of Palin, my mind remembered the beautiful body of a savage man drenched in sweat or water as I giggled softly."What's gotten you in a sweet mood my dear?" My return home was with a fairly warm welcome. I smiled at my husband who didn't look so happy to see me."Hello Arthur, are your testicles so tight that you have a scowl on your face? I'm surprised your sons aren't running." I joked as his expression softened a little.Arthur hugged me as I hugged him in return before he placed his hand in my waist."We need to discuss something very important dear." Arthur whispered to my ears as I stared at my children.I kissed Arthur's lips. "How important?" I asked."The fate of this kingdom and an issue that calls for alarm." Arthur gave me the summary of the meeting."Very well. Children, I brought gifts for you all the way from the outlands, Larissa will help sort your gifts and we will have dinner together." I informed as Jamie frowned."But you promised to play with us." Jamie whined."But mother and father has to work unless the kingdom won't be happy and that means they might take

There was nothing more annoying that the chirping of the birds to remind me that it was morning. My head hurt as I yawned, eyes and body facing left and was met with the sight of a sexy wild man sleeping.Darius reminded me of the citizens of Spanish regiments with tan skin, angular jaw line, pointed nose, silky yet unruly hair with waves of their own, mostly trimed beard hard biceps that could lift me with space and let's not forget his big man root.I climbed down from the bed, picking up my clothes as I quickly put them on.I was contemplating between killing him now or leaving him but I decided he was worth leaving alive.Even if I wanted to kill him, I couldn't.He truly was cautious around me but not enough not to not have the best sex I haven't had in a longtime.I went to my room to gather my things before I decided to pay for my stay and leave. My time in Palin was fun but it was time I retur

I was bored. I was absolutely bored.Staying confined in my room as thoughts of yesterday made me all the same wanting to risk my life for that deep voice. My reason for coming to Palin was not only to explore but to also have fun.If Arthur had been here and I was attacked, I would have been guarded like a rabbit in a pack of wolves. Now I was as free as a bird and open to hunters.I got down from the bed I laid as I quickly changed into a pair of pants, boots and a stylish white shirt.I needed a drink to calm me down or at least entertain me for the evening until I'm stupid enough to risk my life again.I knew Darius was not seriously planning to kill me that day. He seemed like an honorable man.The thought of wasting someone so petite and helpless must have disgusted him so he was testing the waters. He was checking if I was as cruel and bitter as his employers had shallowy him or gentle and graceful like e
