Later that day, on the way home, Tasha was mainly oblivious to my depressed mood, so she was happily looking out the carriage window.

On the other hand, Tom could tell that something was weighing heavily on my mind, "Sash, what's got you so upset?"

"It's nothing important..."

"Please tell me. I might be able to help in some way."

"Please just leave it for once. It's nothing you can help me with. I can handle it on my own anyway."

"How can you be so sure I can't help if you don't tell me the problem?"

"Just trust me, you can't help me with this, so just drop it."

After I said that, I could feel the carriage coming to a stop, so I got out before Tom had a chance to say anything else on the matter, "I'll see you inside."

As I walked into the estate, Tom followed shortly behind me while the carriage driver took Tasha back home. Tom sped up, caught up to me, and stopped me, "Sash, can you please tell me? I just want to help you."
