Bad advice

Over the rest of the day, word spread that I rejected Zeek, but with him biting the bullet and being the first to ask me out, he empowered the rest of the guys in my classes with the courage to start asking me out the next day.

The next few days, I had probably over 10 different guys ask me out. Luckily I learned from my mistake of being too soft-hearted with Zeek and turned them all down.

The barrage of date offers seemed to have no end in sight. After another couple of days of suffering through it, I started to try and think of a plan to make everyone stop asking me out, 'I'm really getting tired of the constant date invites! I really want them to stop...'

I then had the idea to ask someone for advice, 'Maybe I can ask Tom or Dan what to do? No, they're hopeless when it comes to something like this. I can't ask Dad, he'll probably do something impulsive, and I can't ask Mom; she's way too excitable. Don't tell me I can only ask Tasha...'

During the lunch break, I sat next to Tash
