Abelard frowns, his jaw clenching violently. His fists clench so tightly. Abelardâs gazing at the goat-headed devil, the look in his eyes filled with deep irritation.
âOur food, you say?â
âHeh! So thatâs how you all look up at us?â
His voice is rising little by little, Very smooth and His expression is full of intimidation.
âHA HA HA HA..â
The devil laughs at Abelard again. Its laugh is getting bigger and bigger.
âYOU HUMANS ARE REALLY FUNNY. THEN WHAT ABOUT YOUR HABIT WITH EATTING ANIMALS? ISNâT THAT THE SAME AS WE DO SO FAR?â
Abelard gets stunned when he heard the words of the devil. During his life and in hunting down the devils, this is the first time he met the devil who had thoughts and could talk like humans.
âHUMANS EAT ANIMALS, DEVILS EAT HUMAN. ISNâT IT WHAT YOU CALL FOOD CHAIN, HUMAN BRAT!â
âIN ADDITION, OUR EXISTANCE, THE DEVILS WERE BECAUSE OF THE DESIRE AND THE DARKNESS INSIDE THE HUMAN HEART. EVEN REVENGE AND NEGATIVE ENERGI THAT MAKE US EXIST!â
Abelardâs heart stops beating for a few seconds. It feels like an iron pin had stabbed him through the hole which made his chest hurt. The fragments of the devilâs words swirls in Abelardâs mind.
'No, itâs not true!â
âNoâ
âYou have to be even smarter in controlling yourself! Remember that negative emotions can be a source of demonic power.â
A faint smile seems to appear on his red lips. Abelard let out a long breath. He still remembers everything he experienced throughout his life and all the teachings of the Aahva gave him. He thought that giving a tolerance to the devil was the same as killing all humanity.
âHeh! Perhaps you are right for some reason, But We humans also have the right to live!â
Abelard slowly steps into the goat-headed devil. His steps are very elegant. His hands pulled out the knife behind his back.
âHey Devil! Perhaps that is what you wouldnât never understand from us humans!"
Abelard runs towards the goat-headed Devil from the front with his courage.
âCuz you only have darkness and hatred inside!â
âHA HA HA, YOU REALLY THINK THAT PUNY WEAPONS COULD TAKE ME DOWN! RAAHGGHGâ
The devil jumps through Abelard. As soon as it reaches the ground, it reaches for a tree that was still stuck in the ground, pulls it out and throws it towards Abelard.
Abelard dodge tree that thrown by the goat-headed Devil. When Abelard realizes that the devil had not been in front of him, suddenly the other tree slid towards him.
âDamn it, what a blind attack!â
Abelard is able to avoid other trees, but it turned out that the devil only used 2 trees before to distract Abelard.
âHEY HUMAN BRAT!! TRY TO AVOID THIS ONE IF YOU CAN!â
âHuh? What?â
A large block of wood is pointed directly in front of Abelard. His body could not dodge anymore. The impact of the wooden block is very strong. Abelard gets bounced until he rolls over on the ground, gasping for breath and coughing several times, even though he parried the wooden block with all his might. Abelard was very surprised when he received it with a heavy hand.
âHuh? This one is pretty strong, even though it only has one hand.â
âWhere is my sword? I must end this soon! Right here, right now!â
Abelard looks around in the middle of the dark night, hoping that his sword would be found.
A glint appears some distance in front of him. That was where he had bounced for the first time. His breath is still panting. Slowly, he gets up. His legs are a bit weak, making him unsteady.
âIt turns out like this, huh? This is the first time Iâve got beaten up like this. It seems like itâs going to be quite heavy.â
âWhat!?'
Suddenly, his chest feels hot again. His forehead tightens several times. His left leg gets collapsed again, making him bow down while his left hand clutches his chest. Abelardâs breathing stabilized. Abelard is so surprised by this feeling that comes back all of a sudden.
âIt comes back! Uhgâ
âEah, it doesnât matter now!â
âI need to fight! That devil is getting closer.â
While holding back the feeling within him, Abelard stood up valiantly. The goat-headed devil walked towards Abelard slowly while holding a large wooden block. His eyes glow red. His face looks so terrible, his mouth is open until saliva is flowing out.
âHEY HUMAN BRAT! WHAT IF YOU RETURN MY ARM WITH YOUR MEET!!! I SWEAR IâLL MAKE IT PAINLESS.â
âWhat?â
âMANY OF YOU HAVE FALLEN IN MY STOMACH! AND SOON YOUâLL MEET YOUR COMRADES! HAHAHA HAHA AHAâŚâ
âYou mean you have fought another devil hunter?â
âSO WHAT? NOT EVEN ONE OF YOU CAN DESTROY ME.. BUT I APPRECIATE YOU BECAUSE YOU COULD MAKE ME LOSE ONE HAND, NO HUMAN HAS SUCCEEDED TO DO IT.â
Abelard moves suddenly. His feet are quick, even faster than a lion or deer. His eyes glares at the Devil sharply.
His heart is full of blazing hot fire, reflected in his sharp and dangerous eyes. All the muscles in his body get tightened too. Abelard was starting to lose control of himself. When the goat-headed devil finishes speaking and blinks, Abelard is already in front of him.
Instantly, the vision on the right side of the devil-headed devil begins to disperse and blackens. Pain slowly rises from his right eye and radiates into his mouth. When he realizes it, there are 2 daggers that had stabbed and tore his head. Abelard moved so fast that when the goat-headed devil realized Abelard had stabbed him, a shower of black blood spread everywhere.
âAAARRHHGGGGâŚ..â
Abelard draws his two daggers back quickly and continues to stab the goat-headed devilâs shoulders. It doesnât stop there. Abelard still kicks the goat-headed devilâs nose and jumps back because the goat-headed devil is swinging his wooden block at Abelard roughly, but Abelard is able to dodge it.
Instantly, the goat-headed devil falls and one of his knees hits the ground, so he kneels before Abelard. His remaining hand releases the dagger that Abelard had stabbed in his shoulder. While holding his injured face, he groans in anger.
âWhat kind of weapon is this? It hurts so muchâ
âWhat the hell with this kid? No one has ever made me like this.â
âWait a minute! Why am I kneeling!? Me!? The devil who has devoured many devil hunters!â
Abelard slowly walks. He heads for his sword that lay on the ground, which was not far from him. Now his sword is back in his hand.
âWhatâs the matter? Is it that painful? So you can feel pain too, huh?â
His tone is extremely harsh, intimidating his opponent. His eyes are filled with hatred. His neck continues to tighten. His mouth spit those words out very bitterly.
âYouâve taken dozens of innocent lives and you were acting like itâs normal.â
âWhatâs with that face? Ugly as hell! Goat devilâ
The goat-headed devilâs ears immediately feel painful. His eyes are wider. It feels like someone had stabbed his heart with an iron peg until it had a hole. The goat-headed devil flinches instantly with Abelardâs words.
The demonâs pupils get dilated instantly until the black veins in his red eyes appear. His jaw grips very hard. All the muscles in his body begin to tense up until the black blood comes out of the wound again. His hands clenched tightly.
âDONâT BE AROGANT, HUMAN BRAT!â
âYOU ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A DIRT!â
The two beings who are dealing with anger welling up inside of them. Their auras collided with each other. One is smoldering as if it would burn anything in front of it and the other emitted a terrifying black aura that made other creatures shudder. Abelardâs chest is getting hot and pounding. The veins all over his body were visible, even though he was just standing. On the other hand, the devil keeps groaning and glaring at Abelard. Both of them wielding their weapons swiftly, dashing towards each other with strong killing intent.
The sound of a strong wind, slightly damp ground, water flowing quietly slowly vibrates due to violent movements, two individuals heating up each other.
The goat-headed devil swings the wooden block towards Abelardâs head. Abelard doesnât just stand still. He dodges the attack by jumping to his left and the tip of his sword slid into the goat-headed devilâs eyes.
The goat-headed devilâs head turns to make Abelardâs sword hit the goat-headed devilâs horn. His sword and the goat-headed devilâs sign clashed with each other for strength and sharpness. The two creatures who destroy each other face each other with their respective weapons.
âTHE SAME TRICK WONâT WORK ON ME TWICE, HUMAN BRAT! RAAHHGGHâ
The goat-headed demon flicks its horn, so Abelardâs sword misses it. Not only that, the wooden block also slid towards Abelardâs body. Abelard reflexively dodges the attack and back away from the goat-headed devil.
Just as Abelard was moving away from the goat-headed devil, suddenly a block of wood comes towards him. With all his might, his sword cleaves the wooden block. Not finished with one block of wood, come another log and Abelard cut it as well.
Abelardâs body bounces suddenly he realized that another block of wood hit his body. The goat-headed demon continues to pelt Abelard with the surrounding trees as he uprooted.
âUghg⌠Damn Devil!â
Abelard immediately stands up, other wooden beams coming towards him. Splitting and dodging, he keep does so while approaching the goat-headed devil.
The goat-headed devil continues to pelt Abelard with wood with all his might. Suddenly, he realizes that if the surrounding tree is running low, Abelard is almost close to him. There was a large log nearby. With one hand and its tail, it pulls it from the ground.
Abelard makes it through all the trees that the Goat-headed devil threw. His eyes get widened as a big of wood comes towards him. Abelard runs as fast as he could, concentrated all his strength on his legs, jump and run up the tree. Abelard jumps straight at the goat-headed devil, along with his sword gave off a golden glow.
âTHERE YOU ARE, BRAT!â
âTime to say goodbye, Devil!â
Abelardâs eyes gleams, the heat in his chest was driving him crazy. Abelard doesnât care about anything else but slashing the head of this goat-headed devil. When the reach was almost there, suddenly something long comes and wrap around Abelardâs neck.
âShit! This kind of thing will not stop me!â
âDIE! HUMAN BRAT!â
The goat-headed devilâs tail strangles Abelardâs neck very tightly. The heat in Abelardâs chest is getting hot. Abelardâs eyes slowly bring out red, blue and gold colors that are graded very uniquely and shining.
âEEUUAAHHH!â
Even though the demon strangled Abelard, but Abelard refuses to stand still and die, he cuts the tail with his sword. Suddenly, the goat-headed devil is in pain and grabs his tail.
âDAMN YOU! HUMAN BRAT! EEEAAHHHâ
The devilâs claws suddenly became longer. The goat-headed devil is starting to get frustrated and attack Abelard with his claws wildly. Abelard does not lose, his sword dance gracefully. The Devilâs hooves and Abelardâs sword collide with each other.
The two of them attack each other fiercely, fast and deadly. Several times Abelardâs body get hit by the nails and bled. On the other hand, the goat-headed devilâs nails are gradually damaged. His body is also full of wounds from Abelardâs attacks. It seems that Abelard is quite ahead now.
âDorâ
Reflexly, both of them jump away. There is another person who comes uninvited, even though his shot missed. His figure shot from a distance and hidden in the darkness of the forest in the middle of the night.
The goat-headed devilâs body is really at a disadvantage as it had lost one arm, one eye, tail and his body gets wounded so blood is flowing everywhere in other words it is almost get destroyed, on the other hand Abelard doesnât seem to be bleeding much. Much of the blood from the goat-headed devil sticking to him is partially exposed to his skin and evaporated.
âDorâ
When the goat-headed devil notices the source of the sound, a bullet hits its horn. Bright eyes lit up, his body slightly quivers as the bullet hit him. The devil runs away from Abelard. All the anger that had attacked Abelard suddenly disappeared.
âWhat?â
âHEY! Stop! Donât you dere to run away!â
âIâm not done with you!â
The demon runs quite fast, but Abelard keeps chasing him and when he almost reaches it.
'Dorâ
Abelard dodges, but not with the Devil so that his right shoulder is shot. Even so, he still runs with everything he had. Abelard chases after him again. The devil runs towards the river. When the devil jumps, Abelard was behind him. A jet of black blood spurts towards Abelard from the goat-headed devilâs back. The devil did not expect Abelard to attack him, even though he was already on the river bank. They both end up falling into the river. Abelard appears on the surface of the river water, looks around, but could not find the whereabouts of the goat-headed devil.
âSHIT! It seems I have lost it.â
Abelard climbs up the river bank. Lying with his wet and injured body. Looking at his sword in his right hand, his breath is a bit heavy. His body feels quite tired from the intense battle just now.
âHuh? Why is it dark again?â
âAll that felling. What was that?â
Suddenly, a bright light hit his face, dazzling his eyes so that his left hand covers his eyes. A figure appears to Abelard, but he doesnât seem very clear. Instead, he could see Abelard very clearly. Wet, hurt, and exhausted.
âHey boy⌠You look quite messy now. Did that creature beat you down to make you like this?â
He crouches beside Abelard. His voice was heavy, His eyes were deep, Aahva was looking at Abelard, who was lying on the ground.
âStop it already! Turn that flash away!â
âHahaha, so you are still alive, huh? Can you stand up on your own?â
âWhy not? Iâm not that weak.â
Abelard slowly sits up and then stands up, his body a bit wobbly, but still quite energetic.
âLetâs go home, old man! That thing is not here anymore. We have lost it, but I donât think it can survive for long with that all damage.â
âHeh! Okey⌠Here, let me help you.â
Aahva supported Abelardâs right hand to help him walk.
âActually, I donât need your help, but thanks! All I want now is to get home and sleep as long as I want.â
âHeh! You can sleep in the carriage later.â
In a dark place, the cold night wind howls all around, the river flow swiftly. On the bank of the river, a black hand full of wounds is seen holding on to a rock. From the river water emerges a large, ugly, and full of wounds creature. Slowly, the whole body of the creature rises to the ground. He only had one hand, his head was shaped like a goatâs head and there were several wounds in his body.
He looks all over his body, his hands groping all the wounds on his body. His hands clench his fists tightly. His red eyes slowly lit up a bright red color, followed by black veins in his eyes.
âHEEUUAAAHHHHHHâŚ..â
Birds begin to fly into the sky. The wind howls louder and louder until it shakes the trees around the area.
âTHAT HUMAN BRAT!!â
âSOMEDAY IâLL COME TO YOU FOR SURE.â
âAND WEâLL SEE! WHOâS GONNA BE THE PREY.â
Suddenly, a memory fragment appears in the goat-headed devilâs mind, his hand holding his horn as if he still felt the bullet that hit his horn and it still attaches to him. When he feels the sensation again, his body starts to shaking and couldnât stop.
âWHAT?â
His legs suddenly get limp and his knees hit the ground, his hand supporting his body while holding back the tremors against him.
âWHAT IS THIS SENSATION?â
âIT MUST HAVE SOME RELATIONSHIP WITH THAT THING THAT HIT ME EARLIAR.â
âSHIT!â
A few days laterâŚ.. On a bed someone is lying, staring at the ceiling of the room, for days just lying and rolling on the bed. He only wears short pants without any other cloth attached to his body, his black hair that is quite long and disheveled, without knowing how many days he had not taken care of himself. Abelard only locked himself in his room after fighting the goat-headed devil. He closes his eyes, opens his eyes, kept doing it over and over again, no matter how many times he had done it. From the corner of his round, dimly lit eyes, he seemed to be contemplating some things. âDevil.â âThat strange feeling.â Everything he experienced when he fought the Goat-headed Devil still echoing in his mind. His heart feels displeased with all those experiences. âHuuahh⌠I should have caught that thing that night.â Abelard wakes up from his sleep and sits on the edge of the bed, rubs his face a few times and then sighs. He stands up, stretching his whole body. His feet step toward
A steam train stops at a station. Three people get out of the train. They seemed to be carrying a lot of luggage. One of them is a man who seems a little overwhelmed with all their luggage. The station is located in a small town and quite a lot of people. The only thing is that the place is a bit cloudy. âWeâve finally arrived, so where does dad live?â Fresh air entered Janeâs nose. She relaxedly takes a deep breath of fresh air. Jane could feel the freshness flowing all over her body. Her pure white face seemed more radiant than before. She looked more cheerful now. Jane is quite tall at the age of twenty, even the same height as her mother. His voice is very smooth, sounded very cheerful, her eyes filled with a gleam. Jane looked even more fiery than before. âOohh well⌠It seems our little girl is finally shows up. Did that train make you stressed out?â âNope, by the way, Uncle Leon. Whereâs dadâs place?â âRelax jane⌠Iâll take care that, just stay here with your mom, Iâll look
Jane steps so fast. Her heart was beating so fast, shame filled her heart and rises to her head. This is the first time she feels this way. She is so embarrassing that she doesnât know what to do. âWho was he??â âWhat is happening to me?â Slowly, Janeâs figure moved away from Abelard. Abelardâs eyes continue to watch Jane from her back without blinking. A young girl who is really beautiful. This is the first time heâs seen her. Janeâs feet continue to hurry, she who was already embarrassed, did not think about where she was running. When she realized she had been in a lonely place in an alley. Her legs stop, her breath is panting, which made her chest heave up and down. âOohh, where am I?â âDonât tell me Iâm lost.â Janeâs back suddenly gets stiffened. She felt someone was watching her. When her gaze shifted in various directions, there are several shirtless children carrying sharp weapons. âWhatâs wrong with these kids?â âAre they trying to rob me?â One of them, with the big
When the boy left, Jane realizes she gets back alone with Abelard now. Jane takes a deep breath and let it out slowly. Instantly, she turns her body and gets face to face with Abelard. âThank you for helping me, Sir.â âAahh.. No Miss. Iâm Abelard. Please call me thatâ Just as Jane is about to introduce herself, she realizes something. Why were the children so afraid of the young man in front of her? But he is so nice to Jane instead. Jane senses that something was wrong. Jane takes a step back. Her beautiful eyes flash a sharp glare. She is like a deadly rose, which is very beautiful, but thorny. âHey! Abelard. Why are those kids so scared of you and youâre being so nice to me?â Her melodious voice now sounded very sharp, the expression on her face that was very graceful is now replaced with a face full of suspicion. âWhat?â Abelardâs eyes get widened as his back stiffened. Abelard feels a piercing aura coming from the girl in front of him. Jane quietly grabs her bag that is o
Abelard looks at the girl below him, looked quite desperate. Her open neckline, long beautiful hair, smooth white skin. Instantly, it makes Abelard swallow his own saliva. Some bad thoughts started to appear in Abelardâs head. âSo Miss, if you donât mind, tell me your name first while you still have your honor.â âWhy should I? After all, it wonât change anything.â A smile appears on Abelardâs face, his eyes sharpened as if they were going to stab Jane alive. Several cunning thoughts, one by one, appear in his mind. âCome on, just tell me!â Jane keeps her eyes closed. There is no movement - the slightest movement of her. Finally, Jane takes a deep breath, a drop of light flashing from her eyes passes her cheek and falls to the ground. âJane.â âHeh!â Jane could feel the firm grip on her hand loosen as the heavy weight that was pressing down on her body disappear. When Jane opens her eyes, there is a hand outstretched in front of her. âJane. Thatâs a very beautiful name. Get up!â
Abelard and Jane are sitting together on the bank of a clear river. The two of them exchanged glances with one looking unconcerned and the other confused.âWhat? Are you trying to say that if it is a yes?ââYou said your name was Jane, right?ââIs it your real name or just a fake?ââReal.ââThen hear me out Jane! I just donât like seeing those kids commit crimes. Iâve known them for a long time and I stopped them several times, so maybe they were afraid of me.ââBut perhaps you. You have something that makes them melt so easily. But it seems you also have thorns that make some people hurt and even die. But for me itâs okay because every fallen tree will give a place for another new tree that will replace it and with another tree lives, many others would get benefits from it.âJaneâs jaw gets tightened, her eyes focused on Abelard as sharp as a razor blade. Jane could feel her chest tighten as soon as Abelardâs words entered her ears. Jane thought Abelard is completely irrational with
âWhat? Where?â Jane grabs the horse that was eating the grass and pat it. Her eyes got rounded and turn to Abelard. Slowly, she takes a short breath. âYou said earlier you would accompany me around.â âOoohh⌠So that, huh? I didnât know your mood would change so fastâ âSoâŚ, how much longer are you going to keep this young girl waiting?â âAlright⌠Alright⌠Iâm coming.â Abelard gets on his horse first, and then he stretches out his hand to help Jane. But Jane goes up on her own and ignores Abelard. âDonât be too fast! This journey will surely be missed in vain.â Abelard nods in understanding. The horse started walking from the river bank towards the city center earlier. A cool wind blows on the outskirts, birds chirp and fly, tall green trees that really color the atmosphere of their trip. âBy the way, your fighting skills were not so bad.â A rather confusing sentence entered Abelardâs ears. He had just made up with the girl behind him. âThanks.â âWhat? You sound like youâre s
They start arguing in the middle of the conflict. Each of them averted their eyes and forgot the real enemy. âOhh⌠then who? The victims themselves?â âNo.. I mean, look at them!â âThen, if so, get out of here!â âI wonât leave this place!â The victim who had been pounced on by the Devil had completely entered his stomach. While Jane and Abelard were arguing with each other with their respective body language. The demon was in a somewhat chaotic shape like half human, half raw meat with a mouth in its stomach and other randomly located body parts and there were thorns all around its body. "RrrooooaaarrrâŚ..â When Abelard glanced at the chaotic devil, Jane immediately ran towards it. There was a gun in her left hand and a syringe-like object in her right hand. âWow.. Interesting girl. Letâs see what you gotâŚâ Abelard stood still while crossing his arms in front of his chest with a sly smile. There was a soun
Abelard looked quite worried, because this time it was just him and Jane alone. In his heart, he felt that something unwanted would really happen. He had just woken up from a coma and had not fully recovered.âHey! If you have recovered and are strong enough to go. We can go to their place.â Jane said without thinking.âYou know the place?â Abelard asked curiously.âOf course!âAbelard spurred his horse to run very fast all of a sudden. Jane was quite surprised. She could only follow behind while making sure nothing happened to Abelard. They finally arrived at their hiding place.âAbelard! Whatâs the matter?â Jane asked worriedly.Abelard dismounted, his eyes focused forward, his feet stepped into the house with long strides. Jane was suspicious of his movements as she stopped suddenly.âIf you want to go now. Iâll never go with you! Go yourself!â Jane threat Abelard firmly.Abelard stopped as he was in the middle of the stairs to the top. He turned and looked at Jane, who was wearing
Jane got off her horse. Her feet, which were only on a couple of sandals, slowly stepped on the rocks by the river to Abelardâs place, then sat beside him. Janeâs eyes instinctively searched for Abelardâs eyes. It wasnât like when their first met or when he was fighting. This time he looked really messed up and even Jane could feel the overflowing emotion inside Abelard.âHey, you should be recovering yourself, leâŚâ A soft voice of a young girl attempted to lure Abelard before succeeding with a compelling cut.âI know⌠I know⌠Please, this time, let me stay outside for a while.â Abelard answered confusedly as he looked into Janeâs eyes.âOk, I guess Iâll stay here to watch you.â Say Jane softly.Abelard looked back at the river water, his eyes dimmed. He was so weak, as if he had lost his soul.âYou know, Jane, this place was my training place. Your father often took me here, and we trained many things in here. Even some memories come out when I see this place.â Abelard said all of a
A girl was seen using some medical equipment. The very beautiful young girl did a great job. Abelard was comfortable with her treatment. âAlright, I think youâre in a good condition right now, but donât be reckless!â âThanks, and forgive me for being weak.â Abelard lowered his gaze, his eyes starting to go blank as if he had been hit by something that had affected him so much. The fight with the mysterious man was the cause. âYou have done well, and my father said youâre stronger than him.â Jane praised him with a sweet smile on her face. Abelard raised his head with his pupils dilated, his heart beating rapidly. âWhereâs your father? Whereâs Aahva old man?â Abelard asked, panicky. âOhh, he left yesterday, and he hasnât returned with my mother yet.â Jane answered calmly to calm Abelard down. âDo you know where he went?â âWell.. He just said he would see some of his old friends. Thatâs all.â Jane rolled her eyes at Abelard. Seeing Abelard awake and active made her really happy
In a dark foggy place, Abelard walked, accompanied by his flagship sword. From various directions from where he stood, there were eyes that were stalking him from behind the fog.âWell.. Whatâre you guys waiting for?ââCome and get me!âOne by one, creatures with various forms of unknowing appeared and ran towards Abelard. Abelard began to heat up, tightly gripping his sword. His sword began to slash the devils one by one. Abelard indiscriminately slashed every enemy that targeted him.The devils were many, but Abelard was still the one standing on the corpses of those who had been slain.âWell.. Is that all? Nothing more?âThe mist surrounding Abelard began to dissipate. Abelard was in a very wide meadow. The moonlight began to shine on the place, from behind the shadows appeared someone. He walked towards Abelard while clapping his hands. Abelard began to be alert. His figure came into view as he emerged from the shadows of the night into the moonlight. In an instant, Abelard lowere
âWhatâs happening?âJane stopped right in front of the house, jumped off the horse, covered in sweat and looking disheveled.âIâll explain it later! Now heâs in danger. Heâs got a bad injury!âWhen Aahva picked up Abelard, his eyes were fixed on the wound in his stomach that was constantly bleeding.âCall up your mother now!âAahva led Abelard into the healing room in the hideout. From the door, Eleanore with Jane entered in a hurry.âMy God! This is reallyâŚââAre you going to stand there or what? Do your job! Itâs your turn!ââIâll take care of it! Bring me some medicine I that bought.ââJane! Assist me!âAahva gathered everything they could use while Eleanore and Jane treated Abelardâs wounds. Abelard was bleeding profusely, even though he was immobile and on the verge of death. They managed to complete the surgery. Eleanore herself did not think he would be able to survive.âDarling! May I have a time for a sec?ââWait for me in my office!ââJane, I need an explanation from you ri
âAaarrrggghhhâŚ..âAbelard raised his sword with all his might he thrust his sword into the manâs neck. But unlike before, his sword couldnât pierce him completely.âWell⌠You havenât been able to master the powerful energy yet, but I realized that what stands out from you right now is your speed and breath.ââYour powers may be strong enough, but letâs see whatâll happen to you if I give a bit of myself.âAbelard felt an excruciating pain in his stomach, as if something was burning inside. With his left hand, he tried his best to get the manâs left hand off him and with his right; he kept pushing his sword through the manâs neck.âHehe, so this is the end, huh?â âI donât think so!ââLetâs see whoâll survive!âThey are both struggling to beat each other. During their struggle, there was a wave that exploded the manâs hand, causing them both to bounce.Abelard, who fell to the ground, immediately pulled the manâs hand from his stomach. While pressing the wound he saw from where he was,
Abelard moved away from where he was standing. He ran towards Jane. Abelard held Janeâs hand, then looked deep into her eyes, and so did Jane.âAlright, thatâs enough!âJane began to feel an uncomfortable feeling, the longer that guy looked at her deeply.âI shouldnât have brought you with me."âYou shouldnât have wasted that bomb, young girlâŚ!âBoth of their eyes turned towards the voice. Suddenly, they were shocked by something that was beyond their comprehension. The man was still standing firmly in place, rising up his right hand, which was clenched into a fist. No injuries from the bomb explosion earlier.âWhat the!?ââLooks like youâve noticed it. Heâs not a human. And if itâs true that heâs a devil, we have to destroy him right here and now.ââDo you bring that strange liquid with you now?ââWhy?ââIf so, then give some to me!ââHere, take one with you!ââJane, to be honest! This one is too strong, and itâs the first time Iâve met one like this. If I fail here, I want you to le
Fresh blood flowed from the manâs chest. That mysterious man took a few steps back from Abelard while looking at his wound.âWhat are you!?âSlowly, clear smoke came out of the manâs chest and the blood stopped flowing. A light laugh was the answer to Abelard, which at the same time made him angry.âWhatâs so funny?âAbelard threw his small knife while running towards the man. Followed by the blade of the sword aimed at the manâs chest. The man didnât move and take Abelardâs sword thrust right through his chest. At once, Abelard sensed something was wrong with this man.Abelard could not retract his sword. Abelard was strangled by the man, and he threw him up.The man drew and looked at Abelardâs sword, which was now in his hand.âHonestly, this sword was created to slash whatever it touched. But itâs a shame you canât use it perfectly.ââWhat!?ââLook at thisâThe man swung Abelardâs sword smoothly and there seemed to be a glint passing through Abelardâs stomach. Instantly Abelard fe
Abelard felt his heart stop beating for two seconds and started beating again quickly. The man in a flash launched his right elbow at Abelardâs face, so fast he could not react, so it hit Abelardâs face. Abelard fell to the ground and felt something flowing from his nose. The attack left him bleeding. âFine then! If that is what you wish!â Abelard returned to his feet valiantly. He lunged at the man with the intent of retaliating, but the man grabbed Abelardâs arm with one hand. The man kicked Abelardâs stomach with his knee so hard that he was pushed back.
