I noticed a quick change in his facial expression as he drove us both out of the parking lot.

"Did I do something wrong?" I asked him tentatively. He looked so mad and I kept wondering why.

"Your ex boyfriend's girlfriend is at it again," He said curtly as he drove. I knew in an instant that he was talking about Camila. My happy mood changed to one of dreadful annoyance.

"What did she want this time?" I asked him.

"It is not her, but who she hired to come after me," He said. I was puzzled.

"Who did she hire to come after you?" I asked him.

"A former employee, the man whose job you took," He said in a dry tone.

I recalled the sneering man who openly mocked me before I got the job. He had even called me Bella which I hated. Of course he was walking with Camila. I thought angrily.

"What did he want?" I asked him.

"He is taking me to court for wrongful termination of his job and nepotism, whatever the hell that means," He answered in a dismissive manner.
