Chapter Seventy-nine: Time Of Chaos.

Rendall was stopped in his tracks as he got to Alecto's door. The door was opened but Rendall was hesitant to go into the door.

"My door is wide open. Why don't you come in?" Rendall heard Alecto's voice from inside the house and he took a deep breath.

"I'm coming in," Rendall announced and with hesitant steps, he got into the house.

Alecto sat on his heaps of back and like the first time he had walked into the house, his back faced him.

"This is the only place you can have peace of mind, right?" Alecto said flatly and Rendall nodded even if Alecto could not see him.

"You know why I'm here, don't you?" Rendall asked and Alecto chuckled.

"I know everything, don't I?" Alecto replied and Rendall smiled wryly.

"I don't want to do it," Rendall continued, "but I need to."

"You've made up your mind. Why are you here?"

"Won't you try to stop me?"

"Was that what you had expected of me? Do you want me to persuade you to not do it?"
