Childhood Memories

"My father was sent for and I followed him to the hospital. When we got there, he told the doctor that my mother fell down the stairs. Later, I snuck in and told the doctor the whole truth. But guess what, he did nothing about it. My father was neither arrested, detained nor interrogated. Everybody was scared of snitching on him while they watched him kill an innocent woman. The doctor had enough evidence to at least detain him, but he didn't." He continued.

"Well, mum never made it out of the hospital alive. She died a couple of weeks later. Her death brought about the hatred I have for my father. I seriously wanted him dead. Thinking of everything now, I think he was scared. He thought I was going to keep talking until someone pays attention. He locked inside the house for months. I stopped going to school and he got me a home tutor who took her time with me. She cared for me and loved me like her son."
