Kian’s POV
“Where are you?”“I am okay.”“I am saying, where are you Kian?”“I'm spending some time alone, Raven.”“Why didn’t you bring your bodyguards with you?”“Because I wanted to be alone. Now can you please let me be?”“Just tell me where are you? Just in case,”She wasn’t in my sight now. Her window was shut down. Felt like my time to go.“Doesn’t matter, I am heading home,” I informed him on the phone.“Just please tell me, when you reach there,” his voice was irritated but he was pleading.“Okay, Mom!” I said as I took one last look to her window. No sign of her.I started the car and made my way back home.Irene’s POVI was absent for only three days. But the whole campus felt like I haven’t been there for years. I was feeling better. Not that I wasn’t almost limping around the campus, but still I was grateful that I wasIrene’s POV“What do you want?” I said. Instead of answering me , she grabbed me by my elbow and started dragging me with her. “What-.”“Shh, we are in a library, Sweetie. You are supposed to be quiet.” her tone was scary. So was she. An evil smile was resting on her lips. I followed her out of the library. But she didn’t stop there. She was heading towards the hallway. The vast hallway. I knew what was going to happen. Whatever she was going to do, she wanted to show it. She wanted the audience to cheer her up. She shoved me into the wall. I stumbled at my feet. A painful groan leaving my mouth. My foot was becoming numb and just when I thought I was going to fall, I felt a hand around my waist. And it saved me from falling. I turned to see who it was. It was Ben. “Irene, what happened?” he was concerned. “Ohh looks like you’ve got friends,” Mona shouted. Everyone’s attention was on me. Why? Because it was Mona who was
Kian’s POV“What? You don’t like coffee?”“No, it’s just not my taste,” she scrunched her nose. “I should’ve asked you before ordering,” Raven rubbed a finger on his forefinger. “It’s okay I can eat cheese balls,” she said as her hand approached the aluminium container. “I don’t know how the hell this meeting is going to end in an hour. When you two are talking like it’s some kind of kitty party,”I was actually talking to Raven and looking at him. Her hand stopped at the lid and she drew back. “Thank you, Kian for reminding me,” A sarcastic smile rested on his face. “As you told me Irene, you have a break. And also Kian had a meeting in Italy.”She nodded slowly, her lower lip captured between his teeth. “So, I was thinking. If we’ll do another public appearance there,” he informed her.“In Italy?” she asked politely.“Uhh-yeah. Have you been abroad before?”“No, but I have a passport. If that’s what you are asking. It was required at the time of my admission. But I think it’ll
Irene’s POV“She is-close to me and part of my personal life. Not my new project that I’d like to inform you about.”Old me would have been cringing at me watching a press conference of a famous celebrity. But new me is not finding it weird. I was working with him. Flying to Italy with him. I had all the rights to know about him. Right? As I searched about him, his latest appearance in public came. He appeared too good on camera. No wonder he was a superstar. The way he speaked, explaining his work professionally. He was definitely good at his work. Questions popped about me in the conference. It was working right? This was something we were supposed to achieve. Becoming a hot topic. But why did his features look tense? He was not liking it. Well, I would have understood if someone didn’t want to talk about his personal life. But in his case, this was the point. Maybe it was all part of the act. It made me wonder, some other things too. Like if he was always acting tough like perfor
Irene’s POVThe mess that was created by his fans. Helped me a lot. To overcome the embarrassment. Every Time I was with him, silence hung like pinching me in the a**. Well, normally being silent with someone was not so uncomfortable. But with him it was. I felt like I was supposed to talk to him and I wasn’t. After an hour of driving, we reached a private hanger. Yes, a private jet. I stepped out of the car. And my eyes were widened in surprise. It felt like a dream I never actually dreamt. Seriously, I never wanted to fly like this. Like in such luxury. I used to wish to go abroad. Not specifically Italy. I saw him talking to Raven. After they were done Raven directed his hand to the boarding stairs of the jet, I started to walk on the steps. As I came closer my pace slowed. The interior of the jet was making my eyes stop. I didn’t realise I was still at the spot. When I felt his fingers pushing my hair back, tucking them behind me. He was standing behind me. His mouth came close
Kian’s POV“That’s so dreamy,” she said as her surprised expression popped out of eyes. Well, no doubt. It was way too dreamy. I remember my first time seeing it. I was way more stunned than her. She was taking pictures and smiling at them foolishly, standing beside me in the car. “Looks like you are enjoying it a lot,” Raven said. He was at the front in the passenger seat. It made me wonder, Was he looking at her? “Yeah, I want to brag that I am in Venice,” she said, her eyes glued to her phone.“You know you can’t tell this to anyone,” Raven turned his head to her. “Well, I have not many friends. Just Stacy, you know her,” her eyebrows were raised. He knew? “That one? Yeah, she was sweet.”“She is going to kill me, if I am not going to buy something for her from Venice.”“Really? I know some very great places there. You can buy some vintage things from there,” his tone wa
Kian’s POVI was in no condition to be in such close proximity with someone. My pyjamas were loose. The blanket that wrapped her body when she opened the door was on the ground, now. She was in black shorts, with a white top. Holding me closer to her. Our bodies were in such close contact. I was holding myself by the support of the wall behind her, hovering over her. She was still holding my arm, even though we were inside her room. “Why did you pull me with yourself?” I inquired. For some reason I was not moving from my direction. “I’ve heard Italians are scary when you disturb them,” she tilted her head while hinting. “You acted so dumb,” I frowned and drew back. Uscire!! A voice from outside made her jump and again she was sticking close to my body. “Oh my God, he is angry,” she almost whispered. Her front was against my chest. She was soft. Her delicate hands were gripping onto my shirt.
Irene’s POV “So you were that kind of teenager,” I said as I caught my breath after laughing so hard. He was looking at me silently with soft eyes the whole time I was laughing. “Are you curious about my teenage years now?” He teased me. “Umm,......maybe,” I tilted my head a little, my tone was funky. I heard a chuckle. It was deep. Uncontrolled. Free. I giggled too. Gosh his eyes were glowing. I grabbed a cowboy hat and put it on my head. “How do I look?” “I thought you were buying a gift for someone,” he said, adjusting the hat on my head. “I am, that’s why I am asking you to tell me how it looks on me?” our hands touched as I tried to reach the edges of the hat. “On you-it looks good,” he was looking directly into my eyes. Suddenly, I was so shy of his gaze. “Lo comprerò,” I turned to the shopkeeper. I paid him, and we moved forward. “Do you know where Raven is?” I asked as I took the first bite of the famous spicy Italian sandwich. It was hot.

Irene's POV: I am tired. So, f**king tired. I feel hot and cold at the same time. Cold sweats really running through my body. I am still limping. I fell maybe thousandth time. But I kept walking again. The sun is here, I can see. But I don't know where I am. I collapsed at the ground. I felt like I was dying. Maybe, I was. Tall trees, blocking all the sky. Maybe, it was a good view for a nature lover. But I wanted to see him so desperately. My legs ached. I lifted my body to see my lower half. My feet were bleeding. My knees were bruised. But there was more blood. As I observed more my hand reached under my dress. I was bleeding from my v*gina. My body practically hyperventilated. It could have meant many things. Was I not pregnant? But this much blood isn't common in periods. My mind drifted back to previous months. The stress made me forget that I had missed periods for two months. If I was really pregnant, then this bleeding wasn't a good sign. I felt so thirsty.
Kian's POV: “Say it again.” “W-we can't find her anywhere sir.” Rush of adrenaline. My brain stopped working. “What the f**k did you say,” I held Robert by his collar, pinning him to the wall. “You had one job. Only one. To. Look. After. Her.” I punched him violently. “AND YOU CAN'T F**KING DO THAT.” “S-sir please. We will find her.” I pushed him away. My eyes roamed through the house, hands brushing off my hair nervously. “FIND HER. OR ELSE YOU ARE DEAD.” I can't believe, I came home just after half an hour of this fight. To solve the matter. But she was nowhere. Robert came rushing into the house. And told me a story that she disappeared while running away from him. How? How can she? Was she that mad? Where is she? “All my fault, all my fault. All my fault..” my body shaking as I grabbed my head kneeling on the ground. In an instant, something clicked. And I grabbed my phone and dialled Raven's number. “Hey, kian-” “She is gone. She is gone, Raven. I don't
Irene's POV: None of this would have happened, if I had just not created the drama. Or maybe I am wrong. She would have succeeded in her mission one way or another. I am abducted. Helpless. Shelterless. At her mercy. And now I recall everything in my mind, I see how I had forgot the thing I had wanted. I just wanted him. But I got distracted. My attention was diverted to her, because of my own mistake. My own insecurities. My own jealousy. Right now, I just want his embrace. His voice to tell me that everything is okay, and it is just a dream. But it's not. My body ached in pain, head heavy with an unknown weight. My jaw hurt and I got reminded by the slaps. She slapped me, hit me. Mona did that. She did all of that. She planned it, carefully and precisely. The door creaked open, and the rays of light pierced my eyes. I couldn't see accurately. But as the silhouettes of the person came nearer I saw it was Jasper. He was smiling. He slipped the package in his hand In f
Irene's POV:I was coming from the grocery when I saw Kian’s car parked. It wasn't his time to come home. I got off my car and walked to the corridor. As I entered the living room. I found him sitting on the couch. His head hung back, eyes closed.“Kian, are you alright?” Putting all the packages on the table I walked towards him. He opened his eyes to look at me. I cupped his face, hovered myself over him.“Do you feel pain?” he looked at me, for a second and then blinked. “No, I am alright.” His voice was neutral. “You came early? Did something happen?” I took the space beside him.“No, nothing happened. Everything’s fine. No video of ours is being streamed on social media.” It was a good thing. But why did it sound so bitter on his tongue?“What happened?” My voice was almost inaudible. After all the wait, to give him space. I thought it was over. We will be back to normal.“You told Raven everything?” “I did it because I thought he is your friend and he can handle it.” once agai
Kian's POV:Two weeks and a half had passed since the fight that happened. I regretted everything I said in anger. For that I tried to make up for her everytime I got the chance. Sometimes in the form of flowers, chocolates other times I helped her feeling good.Well, she didn't mention the incident again. Not that I was unaware of the mental war she must have been going through. But still, there was change. She was trying.A perfect traditional date. In a fancy restaurant. Was a good change. We never really did typical couple things, and doing this felt new. She wore a dress, sky blue in colour. I was sure, I had never seen her in this colour before. She looked ethereal and she wasn't believing even after the hundredth time I was telling her.“Maybe it's the makeup then, I mean it looks too much.” she whined.“You look beautiful, that's my final answer. No matter what you think.” I stated sternly. She rolled her eyes, amusingly. The waiter came and started serving the dishes. I loo
Irene's POV:“Mona?” I blinked. It felt like time stopped. My heart thumped harder as my eyes tried to shove the reality into my face. It was really her, but, with him?“Kian?” As I looked at his face. It was a new revelation. How a nervous Kian looks. Blood left his body. He looked pale. Eyes wide with fear? I don't know, I don't fuc**ing know. What was this witch doing here, out of all the places in his office. Near my man.The day was extremely boring at university. Some classes were cancelled. Upcoming annual fare at university was driving people crazy. It was necessary for me to participate too. So when Margret asked to join her, it didn't feel wrong. She proposed to me to hang out some more. Because, it felt boring as compared to spending rest of the day with him. So I called Robert and went home. Prepared snacks to pack for him. It was a new recipe for waffles I had discovered recently on Pinterest. I changed my outfit to a floral dress. Kian loves dresses on me, according to h
Kian’ POV:Five minutes till the meeting start. Long time to stare at the picture Irene just sent showing off her new outfit. Such a tease, deliberately blurring her face. When she knew I hated it. Another picture. her face was not blurred thank God. Hair tied in a ponytail. For so many reasons, I had grown quite liking for this hairstyle. I chuckled at the thought. “Though I’d say hi personally,” I thought it were my ears ringing because there was no way I just heard Mona. As I turned my rolling chair, I came into reality. It was her. My eyebrows pinched at the sight, not sure what to really say. She looked thinner. And for some reason she seemed calmer. Her smile looked genuine, not to mention that I knew it wasn't. “What are you doing here?” Was my question. Her outfit was surprisingly unrevealing. It looked like she was finally cleaning her shi*t or just pretending. None of it was my concern.“For the meeting, you forgot? Tatte company is in the highest sponsor category.” It wa
Irene’s POV:I watched at my outfit for hundredth time. Checking all the criterias that I had build in my mind considering it’s a not so personal dinner. I was here as his wife. Sara, Raven’s girlfriend looked friendly and bubbly. Which I didn’t see in many of Kian’s acquaintances. She was a redhead. Beautifully slaying the maroon coloured outfit. Her features were very prominent. She looked confident. Well, it was understandable since she was handling real estate business all herself. That wasn’t inherited but built by herslef. Okay, that was impressive. The table was set with all the delicious meals. I was sitting on the chair, revising all the table manners I had once learned. “My chief’s special soup,” she said as put the bowl of soup on front of me. I smiled as I dived into it.“That’s amazing” I praised genuinely. She gave me a cheeky girin. She was outgoing, that eased my anxiety a lot. I was wearing a beige coloured not so short dress. I skipped necklace and just wore silver
Kian’s POV:As I took out my phone, it was already ten. It was my time to leave. I grabbed my car keys from the table, causing the heads of two of my best friends snapped in my direction. “Already?” Quinn arched his brows.“Uhh, don’t wanna sleep on the couch. She gets really grumpy when I am late.” I said hanging my jacket on my arm.“No matter how much I try It’s really too much for me to get used to this ideal husband's behaviour.” I chuckled at Raven’s comment. “Are you really this scared of her, I mean she doesn’t looked like she would ever look horrible enough to scare the sh*t out of you.” I could see the honesty in his eyes. The truth she never looked horrible, she looked a bit scared herself. Whenever she would shout at me, I sensed the uncertainity in her eyes. Wanting to know if it did affect me. I wanted to give her the assurety that her offence did matter to me. That she wasn’t just some random girl. I took her as my….. Wife. because to me there was nothing left to che
