Blair's POV

It felt so unreal watching the coffin being laid to rest. It's strange how fast the night could change and January first forever changed my life. This was the reality check that was needed and nothing else.

It's been a few days, and I still couldn't speak; everyone was in black, and they had a napkin or cloth in their hand to wipe their tears while I had nothing, and my eyes were void of tears.

Ace touched my hand. I looked at him, and he pointed at my phone; I opened my phone to see his text, “Are you okay?” I nodded my head with a smile on my face.

Ace has been such a sweetheart; for the past few days, he hasn't said a single word to me or anyone; he had been communicating with his phone, and this was the first time I was coming out of my room, so no one has been able to suspect anything.
