Blair's POV

“To what do we owe this visit Mr Kendrick?” Dad shaked the lawyer and led him up to the living room upstairs.

My dad's children, Grandma, Grandma, Ace, and I followed upstairs. We all sat down and waited for the lawyer to say something.

He expressed his grief, then brought out a file and handed it to Dad, “This was the cause of her death. I was on the phone with her when she had a cardiac arrest, but I couldn't do anything.”

Dad read through it and it looked like he didn't understand a thing, “I don't understand what this is about.”

“It's a business deal she signed with a construction company, they suddenly backed out because one of the king's companies offered them a bigger deal, leaving Mrs. CeCe's company in big debt,” the lawyer let out a breath, “It came as a shock when she found out one of the sub-company was going to sue her and she could lose everything.”

“Why didn't you talk to someone else? You are her lawyer but I am also sure you knew her heart was fragile,”
