Hundred and Eight

The winds of Autumn woke her up. Olivia opened her eyes and sat up, seeing that Rosalie must have left earlier. The time was 8:30, but she could still hear the chirping of the early morning birds.

“Well if you must know, Titan killed her with his bare hands.”

Olivia closed her eyes, leaning her head back on her pillow as she recalled her nightmare. Thankfully she didn't know Miriel's face or else she was sure she would have visualised Titan's hands around her throat, snuffing the life out of her, or Titan snapping her neck, stabbing her in the heart, or even taking her place in the dream.

The scenarios she could imagine would be endless. If he could have brazenly killed someone he loved, the man had no boundaries when it came to unleashing his innate cruelty. The door opened up noisily and Olivia looked up, surprised to see Titan walking into her bedroom.

"You look well," he said.

"I could say the same for you,"

"Slept well?"

"There were no new nightmares if that's what you mean," she
