Dan’s POV

“Code RED. Mission Failed.”

This was the message I read. It was sent to me by Anonymous, the one in charge of our secret organisation. Seeing this made me breathe heavily. Since my father became sick and temporarily handed the organisation for me to handle, things had been going sour. At this rate, my father might hand it over to my step-sister, Charlotte, whom he had always praised instead of me.

I called him instantly to discuss this.

“I need to see you right now! You know my house, don’t you? Come and meet me,” I told him over the phone.

“There is a reason why I am called Anonymous, you know. In the organisation, only two people have seen me…” he replied firmly. He was indirectly telling me he would be unable to see me.

“Father and Charlotte. They must be those two people…” I replied angrily.
