Meeting Point

Anna’s POV

I am relaxed now. It had been a very stressful day but the achievement was worth the stress. Andy had to wrap things up and see someone whom I suspected as his girlfriend. He could not follow me and he assigned the duty to White Shark who seemed to be available at all times. He escorted me back home with my driver and I was welcomed by this crazy feeling of happiness. Craziness and happiness… yeah, I knew they didn’t match at all.

Smith was back from work already and unlike other days, he was seated in the garden sipping red wine.

“It’s the best for the evening…” Smith raised his glass, inviting me to join him. I smiled and sat on the next chair as I watched him pour me a drink. I placed my bag on the ground and I took the glass from him and took a sip of the content.

“Wow!” I exclaimed. “My day has never been so stressful. We had a problematic client today. She was attacked twice by assassins but we saved the situation. ASS is the best actually.”
