"That is not possible! My parents aren't murderers." I stood up abruptly dropping the steaming hot tea on his table glaring at Beta Edward as he seemed to snap at a sensitive spot inside of my head.

"Calm down, Katherine. It's a lot to take in." He coaxed as he walked over to my side.

"Don't tell me to calm down! You just told me that my parents might be murderers so forgive me if I can't act like everything is fine and nothing is wrong with that." I screeched, I'm sure that I was going to have a panic attack or better still pass out if someone doesn't hold me down.

"I just want you to know that you getting hysterical wouldn't raise your parents or his parents from the dead." Edward hushed and that was a fair point that brought me to sealing my lips.

"When you put it like that, it makes sense. But that also applies to the Alpha, punishing me for it doesn't bring either of them back." I clicked my lips as I took another long sip of the herbal tea. Whatever is in this tea is helping me process.

"Have you ever heard of an Alpha's rage?" Edward asked and I just kept a straight face. So what? Omegas can't get as angry as an Alpha simply because he's an Alpha?

Darn, the moon goodness should make all this things make sense.

"I have and I know what it means but then—Never mind."

"Just go to your room and remain there." He stated and stood up.while he walked me back to my assigned room. I figure he wouldn't be in trouble for releasing me since he was the Beta. The hierarchy has certain benefits.

A knock on my door distracted me from just laying on the bed and enjoying my peace.

"Who is it?" I called out and dragged myself lazily to the door. Opening it, I set eyes on one of the few person's I certainly don't want to see.

"Eve?" The girl from earlier that had me prepared for the Alpha.

"Seeing how you're still able to stand on both feet, it means the Alpha didn't touch you." She chided and I felt like slamming the door right into her face.

Does this palace have rules so I know which one I would be violating frequently and the punishment for it?

"Last time I checked, that is supposed to be my concern not yours. I do appreciate you looking out for me though." I forced a broad smile that I wasn't near to feeling and I'm sure she realized immediately that the smile was fake.

"Are you going to keep me waiting in the doorway?" She raised a brow and I bit my tongue.

"Let me guess, you're here to prepare me for the Alpha yet again right?" I asked and she nodded her head in affirmation while heading to the bathroom to run the bathwater and add all types of scented oils, just the same way she had done it the day before.

"You're right, finally something that we both agree on."

In a few hours I was inside of Derek's room again shaking visibly as he laid casually on his bed not sparing me a glance.

"I'm sure you don't need me to tell you to get on the bed right?" I walked to the bed slowly and sat at the edge which probably got him paranoid as he dragged me into he bed so I was lying down properly.

Yes! I know I was supposed to refuse and act all tough but from all I gathered from Edward, if I'm able to make this man an heir, perhaps he would get of my case so let's work on that.

He leaned in closer and began trailing kisses along the nape of my neck. Now I'm reconsidering, maybe I should have told him that I was still a virgin and practically inexperienced

I think it was already laid out on the table that Romance wasn't involved in whatever we were doing so in no one, he had shredded my dress into pieces and was already thrusting into me.

Hard, fast and with annoyance.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I wasn't able to take all of him no matter how he forced it.

"Derek, please..." I was begging and got choked up on my own tears, the pain hitting me in ways I couldn't fathom.

"You're a virgin, Mia cara." He commented like it was something to be proud of while thrusting into me each time with a new tenacity. I was going to feel sore all over down there for a very long while, I was sure of that.

Wait a minute, was that what Eve meant when she said that I wouldn't be walking for days? Had she have sex with the Alpha before or was it just a wild guess? I promise I'm not jealous. Nothing about this man really concerns me. I wasn't even given enough chance to dwell on the thought as pain kept rising and building up in my core.

"Please.." I whimpered as tears filled my face but instead he just kept thrusting into me hard and fast untill he finally released his seed inside of me.

He wasted no time in getting off like I was a piece of trash and diseases he didn't want to get acquainted with and it made my heart hurt a little.

Not because I felt anything for him but we just had sex!

"Katherine, make sure my efforts aren't wasted. Your only job in this pack is to make me a pup, an heir to my blood line so don't suck at it." He warned in a stern voice as he walked into the closet to wash himself.

I just laid there as tears trickled down my eyes, dejected as my world cane crashing on my very own feet.

My fate was already decided! I was just his breeder and nothing more. I was a fool to believe that if I had sex with him one time, it would change his entire view about me.
