Not knowing what to say, I coughed into my palms but he was still there when I raised my head back up. The pressure of his fixated eyes caused me to nod before I even knew it.

“It’s—alright now.”

But rather than hearing what will ease my mind thereafter, he said what had me wishing I could find my way into the ground and never come out.

“I must have gone lenient on you seeing as you healed so fast.” His voice boomed down at me and before I could realize, he shut his windows and was gone.

‘Add one and two together Katherine, you just ruined your life completely.’ I can hear my wolf saying disappointedly, as she crawled to the pit of my stomach.

She was right. Now I shall have to suffer twice miserably on his bed next time.
