Chapter 11

Adriel's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with the implications of Emma's revelation. "What makes you think that?" he asked, his voice low and urgent.

Emma hesitated, as if unsure how much to reveal. "I saw something that day, something that didn't seem right. I did not think much of it at the time, but now I realize it was suspicious."

Adriel's grip on her hand tightened. "What did you see?"

Emma took a deep breath before speaking. "I saw a car following yours, a black sedan with tinted windows. And at the hospital, I saw the same car parked outside. I didn't think much of it then, but now I realize it was the same car."

"Are you sure of that?"

"Yes, I remembered everything clearly."

Adriel saw the concern in Emma's eyes but this was his business so he was not going to allow her to disturb herself over it.

The shocking revelation changed the atmosphere, leaving a gloomy mood.

"Thank you for telling me. I will handle it myself so you shouldn't bother about it from now."
