Chapter Three

As the gentle morning breeze blew across the sidewalk, a black BMW drove in front of a blue skyscraper and then stopped.

Then its front door opened, and K got down from the vehicle, adjusted his coat, and walked over to the back door.

When he reached for the handle, the door suddenly opened, and Rome stepped down from the car.

Inhaling the morning breeze with a smile on his face, Rome shoved his right hand into his pocket and said, "It's good to be back."

Then he marched into the building with K a few steps behind him.

A couple of minutes went by, and then a white vehicle and three SUVs came to a stop a few distances behind the BMW.

When the SUVs doors opened, a group of men in black got down from the cars, rushed over to the white vehicle, and opened the back door.

It took a few seconds, and then Mr. Ford stepped out of the car with a straight face, and yet he couldn't wait to head inside to see his son.
