LYNE:

The loud bang of my head must've alerted them as I heard their distant screams.

My eyes flickered, struggling to stay open. I had to finish what I started. I shook my head to fight off the dizziness overwhelming me, but it only makes it worse—heavier.

My eyes closed weakly and I let my head fall back on its own. Another bang, but not as hard as the first, and my breathing turns shallow.

§. §. §.

Admist the loud grating sound of crickets chirping, I heard the low crackling of fire. The warmth felt gentle on my skin and I Slowly came awake.

Am I…alive? The horrifying thought makes me flung my eyes open.

“Uggh!” I grunt softly, and held my head steady with a hand resting on my forehead. My heart jumped and a lump formed in my throat.

How am I still alive? Sliding my hand to the side of my head I was certain I'd bashed on a rock, I felt a dampened piece of cloth, wrapped loosely about my head.

Did I slam less harder than I thought I did? And, who had saved me? I slowly lifted myself to sit. My eyes scanned through what looks like a big tomb with an open entrance like…

“A cave?” I muttered softly. A familiar stench hit me; thick, harsh and nauseating. I wriggle my nose, it's the smell of blood and…ale?. A sudden sound of loud snoring behind me startles me.

Terrified, I sharply turned to my right and looked over my shoulder. My eyes widened in shock, I clutched my chest not to scream and also steady my racing heart, jerking to my feet at the sight of a fat, short, crazy looking wolf laying fast asleep.

The sudden jolt makes my bang harder. I feel like they're swelling and I feel lightheaded. I gasp, running my hands under my tattered dress, over my thighs. The possibility that I might already have been violated by him made my stomach sick. Thankfully, nothing seemed out of place. My underpants were still lapped around my waist and I wasn't feeling sore down there.

I breathe out a sigh of relief and head straight for the entrance. As stealthily as I could, with a hand clasped over my mouth, I made my way to the mouth of the cave. Since dying wasn't my luck I could at least try running away from this goddess forsaken place.

My head is still foggy, but I placed a hand on the stone wall to support my weight and then I peered my head out. The other rogues sat somewhat far away from the cave getting warm up in front of a fire, with their backs to me.

“Oh, bloody fuck! I wish I was the one keeping watch over the beauty. I would've ran my hands over her thighs and get a good feel of what she'll taste like tomorrow” the taller of the two men snorts out.

“You're truly one ferocious wolf” the second chuckles in. “She's ours to have as much as we want, no need to rush it. It is the goddess blessings that whore didn't die trying to kill herself. She might finally die when I straddle her around my waist and thrust my beast deep into her.” He adds, laughing and I flared up inside.

I clenched my free hand, the urge to smash their heads against the wall of the cave boiled inside me. But I am no match. Who was I kidding? It was three strong wild wolves against one of me, left to their mercy. Trying my ill luck to run is the only card I have left.

“Alright. It's a good thing Fredo is watching over her. You're just as hungry for her as I am.” The first one nudges him a little too hard on his side.

Careful not to be seen or heard, I turned to the opposite direction into the dark forest. The moon was hidden by a cloud so I had only my instincts to rely on.

“Oh” I froze in a spot as I misstepped on a dried twig, snapping it. The tweaking sound was loud enough in the stillness of the night for the men to not notice.

“Who's there?!” One yells, snarling towards my direction.

Lifting up my now barely recognizable linen dress, I made further into the woods, running as fast as my wolfless speed can carry me. My heart raced; faster than my legs was. I ran in any direction my eyes darted at.

The moon suddenly appeared from behind a cloud, shining its shimmering light unto my path except it was yellow like and not the usual silvery I was used to seeing. I could hear sound of waves slapping against the mountain side now. I was getting closer to the end.

A sharp claw caught the side flay of my dress attempting to drag me back. I let out a cry and immediately wriggle my body free, causing my dress to tear off his hold.

The action makes me to lose balance and I trip over a fallen tree laying purposely on the ground, and stumble off the mountain top.

“Arghh!” I screamed in pain as my body hit something hard, and then into the water. The coldness of the water pierced through my skin. I struggled to swim, slapping my hands against the water, but It was no match for the strong waves me back into the water.

I hadn't noticed the cloth wrapped around my head had loosened and blood pooled out into the water, stinging my eyes. I closed my eyes and tried again, kicking with more force through the water with my hands and legs.

I felt something smooth, hard and something like skin brushing past my hand. I plunged forward and grabbed fast on whatever…or whoever it was. It's an arm. I hold tighter and attempted to pull myself up.

My hand is immediately yanked off almost as soon as I grab on, sending me deeper into the water. I try to scream, but water chokes out my cry. I was drowning, struggling to breathe. This was going to be it, I should be glad to finally be dying, but I am not. I suddenly want to live, to prove I could be worth more than I have been deemed to be. The goddess only has to be less cruel to me and I'll prove myself.

In the mist of my struggle, I felt a strong hand slide the back of my neck and another at the back of my knees, scooping me.
