Ryan's POV

I stared at Scarlett's unconscious body with a blank expression on my face. Then, I turned to my men, who were all staring at me. By

"Clean up this mess!" I ordered.

They snapped out of their daze and began removing the dead bodies from the floor.

With my hands tucked into my pockets, I strode toward Scarlett's motionless form.

Squatting down, I observed the blood that had soaked the back of her dress.

"You should never disobey me, Scarlett. If you do, I can only promise you an early death," I muttered, lifting her into my arms.

I carried her out of the old building, knowing she still had bullets in her. She needed immediate medical attention.
