Scarlet's Pov

I opened my eyes immediately, the cool breeze that brushed over my face made me bat my blue iris eyes open, as my hair danced in rhyme to the breeze.

I was met by the dimly lit lights of the quiet supermarket, and that was when it dawned on me that I was still in the supermarket.

"Oh shit, Clara didn't wake me?"

Reaching out for my phone from my bag, I was shocked by the time which was written on the screen of my phone. It was 00:32.

"It's already midnight," I muttered to myself as I was scared of what would happen when I reached home.

I was the only one left in this big supermarket.

I stood up and picked up my bag before I began walking out of the dark supermarket, which source of light was coming from the dimly lit bulbs, surrounded by goods.

"Why didn't anyone wake me up? Or didn't they see me because of where I stayed?" I facepalmed as I remembered that I had hidden myself in-between goods so that I could sleep.

I still felt sleepy but continued walking out of the big supermarket, but all of a sudden, I was pulled to a corner of the room, making my back bump into the wall, but before I could yelp, a hand covered my mouth securely.

That was when it downed on me that I had gotten myself into a mess.

Raising my gaze with my breath quivering, I was met with the sight of a man who was covered in a black hoodie, and his black hair hid his identity as it was fallen over his face.

The right hand of the unknown man standing in front of me held my two hands above my head, while his other hand was covering my mouth as it hindered me from screaming out in fear.

I didn't know how to react, I was scared and couldn't breathe properly due to how scared I was of the man standing in front of me.

He was a werewolf, but not a member of my pack.

In the pack I belong to, our pack is like a city, just like that of the humans.

It would be very difficult to differentiate between us and the humans, but as for us, we have many woods around, so in case of trouble, we can run in there for safety.

The aura he was producing was something else. It demanded respect and made chills run through my spine as goosebumps settled all over my skin.

I stared at the face of the man in front of me, and he shifted closer to me, making my heart race as I was now trapped between him and the wall.

I held my breath as there was only an inch between us.

He was too close, and I could feel his body on mine.

But before I could realize what was happening, I felt his soft lips on mine as he kissed me gently, and I couldn't help the sensation that ran through my body.

I was taken aback and wanted to pull off, but he stopped me from pulling away from the kiss as he continued kissing me.

He slowly began moving his hands down my ass, and I could only shiver in fear. Who was he and what was he doing to me? He wasn't my mate, I had no idea. I was confused and didn't know what to do at the moment.

He suddenly pulled away from the kiss and peeked at me through his hair which concealed his eyes, so I was unable to know his emotions.

But suddenly, he buried his face into the crook of my neck and began sucking on a particular spot on my neck. What was he about to do? I could only shiver in fear.

I finally regained my voice and was able to speak.

"What….. are you…d..oing?" I finally asked with a stuttering voice as I felt his sharp fangs graze over my neck, but he made no reply and continued kissing my nape.

"Go… away from me," I yelled with a shaking voice as I struggled to free my hands which he held above my head from his grip.

"Let me go!" I was about to yell, but he covered my mouth with his hands which had black gloves on.

I noticed that he was glaring at me even though I couldn't see his face.

I could see his chiseled jawline clenched as he stared at me. I didn't know who he was, so what does he want from me? I haven't offended anyone lately, so who could it be?

I was suffocating due to his hands that were covering my mouth, so I did what anyone in my shoes would do.

I bit his hand perfectly well, and he immediately retracted it.

"Who are you and what do you want from me?" I yelled at him as I tried to catch my breath.

I would have run away if I had the chance to, but he suddenly pulled me to himself, taking me off guard as I gave out a yelp, but it was accompanied by a rush of pain I felt in my neck.

He was marking me.

"Stop…. please," I cried out in pain. The sudden pain was already too much.

I could see his sharp canines buried into the crook of my neck, and I was scared to shit.

I had caught a glimpse of how his canines had elongated before he pierced it into my neck, and I was freaking out with pain.

I cried while trying to free myself from his strong grip, but my pleas fell on deaf ears, and he continued biting me as though he was imprinting something on my neck.

"What are you doing to me?" I cried and was lucky enough to remove my hands from his grasp.

I pushed him away from me, before covering my neck with my hands.

I was bleeding from my neck and when I turned towards him, I saw his elongated fangs go back to normal, and then he licked away the blood on his lips before a smirk appeared on his face.

I stumbled backward in fear, but I missed my balance, which made me fall to the floor, and my head banged on the wall with a thud that echoed in the supermarket.

I gasped out a pant of breath as I felt as though the air was knocked out of my lungs.

I winced in pain with my hands covering my head as my world kept spinning.

Inhaling and exhaling sharply, I began crawling away from him when I saw him walking towards me.

I have received too much pain already from this strange guy in front of me, and I was weak.
