Rumors

Ida's eyes opened as she found her body on the bed with a wet towel on her forehead. She tried to sit upright when she felt a hand pulling her down colliding with a voice.

"Ma'am," She heard Maki's voice and glanced at her side to see her father tucking her into bed.

"Father, what are you doing here??, Maki I told you we should talk tomorrow" Ida spoke, giving Maki and her father a glance.

"I told Mr. Okino about your arrival as soon as you ended the call with me. He came here and found you on the floor, so he called for me immediately, and I called a doctor to check on you. He said you are fine, that you are just stressed out, and you need absolute rest" Maki explained, and Ida heaved a sigh.

"Maki, you can leave. I will be fine" Maki glanced at Ida's father who motioned at her leave, then bowed for Ida, and left.

"Father," Ida called. Her voice came out lowly.

"What happened to you? As soon I came over to your house, I found you on the floor. Are you okay?? What's stressing you out?
