Chapter 45

There is definitely something up with Austin. Just by looking at his face, I can tell it's not good news.

"What’s going on? Why did Austin just leave?" I ask Jacob

"I have no idea." He shrugs in response

"Come on I know you know so tell me. What is happening with Austin? Did something bad happen to him?" I ask concern.

With the look on Austin's face, I instantly felt like something was going on and it’s not a good thing. Not to mention that Jacob has that same look on his face.

"Nothing bad happened to him, you don’t have to worry," Jacob says but I don’t seem to believe it.

"But then why did he leave like that?" I inquire

"I’m not really sure. He didn’t tell me much." He replies.

"Ohh." I say savoring his response "But I still think something is off. Maybe you should go after him and check if everything is alright." I suggest
