Ashley's POV:

Liam had taken a full fifteen minutes to come back, and he was accompanied by two other staff members. After he rushed to his seat, the other two employees start to distribute the files to every board member in the room.

I glance around the room, noticing the tension and impatience on everyone's faces. As soon as Ethan receives his file, he flips it open and his expression turns grim.

"I am appalled!" Ethan exclaims, his voice echoing in the conference room.

"I don't have the words after looking at the company's finances… I can't even believe that it was possible for financial data to be recorded in this way! What even… I can't decide which laurels to bestow on the accounts department."
