Ch-20. Phone number

Ashley's POV:

I look around, trying to get a sense of where I am, but it is totally useless. There is nothing around here—no shops, no buildings, just the endless stretch of highway.

It is pouring down hard, and I clutch my bag as I walk over to one side of the road. My clothes are already drenched, and I can’t find any shelter. Not that it would help much now…

I pull out my phone and curse under my breath. Only 4% battery left. Great, I can't even call a cab, what if my phone dies on me?

Feeling desperate, I dial Tiffany's number, feeling guilty for disturbing her in the middle of the day… but it's not like I have any other options.

"Hello? Tiffany, listen… are you free right now? Yeah, I need a favor from you..."
