Chapter 1

Alice Pov

"I gave Dustin a strong slap in his face after I discovered his secret relationship with my cousin, Dindi. My whole body trembled with anger, and if I couldn't control myself, I might have killed them now.

"How dare you to deceive me, Dustin! After I picked you up from the trash and dressed you, is this how you repay me? To deceive me and make me look foolish?" My chest heaved with intense anger during these moments.

I just came from the house of my best friend, Jana, when I received a call on my cellphone from an acquaintance who lives in the same condo as my boyfriend.

My concerned acquaintance told me that he saw Dustin with another woman and they were kissing as they were getting into the elevator. Upon learning this, I immediately went to Dustin's condo unit. And there, I saw him and Dindi while having intercourse. Instead of being worried, I saw anger on Dustin's face because his intimate moment with Dindi was interrupted.

"Enough with your drama, Alice. It's not my fault that I ended up deceiving you. If you could fulfill my needs as a man, I wouldn't be tempted by others. But even a simple kiss on the lips, you didn't want me to do it," Dustin angrily replied to me while holding his left cheek.

"I am glad that you finally found out about the relationship between me and Dustin, Alice. Now we don't have to hide our relationship from you or anyone else," Dindi said to me with a smirk, as if she was proud that they betrayed me. "No one is to blame for what happened except you, Alice. You're too much of a prude. You're so old-fashioned and boring to be around, that's why Dustin looked for another woman who could make him happy. And it so happened that I was the woman who could give him the happiness you couldn't provide. So how about that, Alice? I once again took away another thing that was important to you."

My anger intensified when I heard what Dindi said as if she was provoking me. I admit that I am partly to blame for why Dustin deceived me. He wants to have sex with me but I am not yet ready to give myself to him that's why he cheated me.

I want to give myself to the man I love and the same man I will marry. And I want to make sure that Dustin is indeed that man, which is why I haven't given him my cherished virginity. But why, out of all the people in the world, did Dustin choose to have a relationship with my cousin, who competes with me in everything and constantly tries to take away anything I desire?

Since childhood, Dindi has always been snatching away everything I liked. And because I'm not fond of competing with her, I always give in and let her have the things I like, which she also ends up liking. I thought she was done playing the role of a snatcher, but apparently not. Because she won't allow herself to be outdone in snatching away the man I love.

Even though my heart is shattered by what I discovered and the words I heard from them, I still hold my head up high to save the pride that they have trampled upon.

"Good luck to both of you. The truth is, you are perfect for each other. A man I picked up from the trash was made into a person and a woman who loves to snatch trash away from me. What a perfect pair!" I said to them with a sweet but fake smile on my lips.

I will never show them that my heart is completely shattered because they will only insult and laugh at me even more. I didn't wait for them to say anything hurtful to me again, I quickly turned around and walked away from Dustin's unit while tears streamed down my eyes.

As soon as I got inside my car, I immediately called my best friend, Jana, who is gay. He was Jano in the morning and became Jana at night. No one knows that my best friend is gay except me. Her parents are very strict because they come from a military background.

I called Jana and invited her to drink at her place. Jana has a lot of wine in her cellar, so I don't need to buy any. I don't want to drink inside a bar because someone I know might see me and report it to my grandmother, Emilia. My grandmother is very strict, and she would definitely scold me if she found out that I drank intoxicating alcohol, even though I was already of legal age.

When I arrived at Jana's condo unit, I immediately asked him for a bottle of Tequila. I wanted to get drunk so that even for a short while, I would feel numb and forget the pain in my heart caused by Dustin's betrayal.

"I don't want to drink anymore, Alice. I can't handle it anymore. I feel dizzy," Jana complained as she leaned against the side of the sofa. "I feel so hot. I want to take a shower."

I playfully tapped her arm. "You really can't handle your alcohol tolerance, Jana. You have so much stored wine but you can't handle the alcohol tolerance." We were both drunk, but we still spoke straight, so it wouldn't be obvious that we were drunk unless someone looked at us closely or smelled us.

Jana slightly opened her eyes and smiled at me. "I prepared that for you, Alice. I knew this moment would come. I know your relationship with that cheater wouldn't last for a long time."

"You're right. My boyfriend is a cheater. That's why it's good that we're separated now," I replied with a smile. I feel numb because of the alcohol, so I don't feel the pain of what Dustin did to me as much.

Jana's eyes are closed because she fell asleep from being too drunk, while I can still handle drinking. But I decided to stop and went outside to get some fresh air. There's a terrace near Jana's place, so I'll hang out there. I feel my body hot because of the alcohol I drank.

Perhaps due to my drunkenness, I couldn't seem to find which part of the building the terrace was located. All I know is that it's near my friend's condo unit. But why can't I find it now?

Because I couldn't find the terrace and I was starting to feel dizzy, I decided to just go back to Jana's place. When I opened the door, I was surprised to find that the lights were off. Did Jana wake up and turn off the lights? My friend can't sleep soundly if the lights are not turned off.

I entered the room and was about to search my hands for the light switch when suddenly a strong hand grabbed my arm.

"Who are you? Who ordered you to put aphrodisiac in my wine? Do you know that I am a werewolf alpha and I am capable of killing you right now?" angrily asked the deep voice of a man. I couldn't see his face because it was dark around him, but based on his voice, I could imagine that he was handsome and muscular. If I'm not mistaken.

"Sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about. And this is the room-" I couldn't finish my words because the man suddenly grabbed my head and forcefully kissed my lips. To my extreme surprise, I couldn't move immediately, so the man's lips freely moved against mine. When I regained my senses, I tried to push his naked body away.

When my hands touched the naked body of the man, the heat in my body intensified, not just because of the alcohol, but because of the stranger's body. I felt a sudden heat in my body, accompanied by an indescribable tickle. And I kind of like it. So instead of pushing him away, I gently caressed his chest with my hands. And I was right earlier, his body was muscular. My hands could feel the hardness of his muscles.

The man groaned in pleasure as I continued to caress his body. And I couldn't help but let out a soft moan myself because of the way he kissed me. Although I had no experience in kissing, I could say that he was an expert. His hot tongue explored every corner of my mouth, savoring its sweetness.

I have completely surrendered to the unfamiliar heat that I am feeling right now. I don't know why I couldn't resist the sudden surge of heat that invaded my body.

I didn't protest when the man quickly removed my clothes; instead, I even helped him undress me. When we reached the bed, we were both naked. My body was almost ablaze as he laid me down on the bed and then positioned himself on top of me.

Once again, I let out a moan, not because of pleasure, but because of the pain when the man united our bodies. It felt like a part of me was torn apart. But the pain was brief because what followed was an indescribable sensation. All I knew was that it felt good. We both reached the peak almost simultaneously, a climax I never expected to reach with a stranger.

When the heat of my body subsided, my mind returned to its proper state. I quickly dressed and left the unit of the man who had fallen into a deep sleep after reaching heaven. And because it was dark around, I couldn't find my panties, so I decided to just leave them behind. They became a souvenir from me to the man I had been intimate with.

When I entered Jana's unit, the lights were already on. Perhaps due to my drunkenness earlier, I mistakenly entered the wrong unit and something happened that shouldn't have.

However, even though I dream of giving myself to the man I will marry, I can't help but feel regret for giving my virginity to a stranger. The man didn't force me because there were many opportunities for me to back out, but I didn't. I would be hypocritical if I said I wasn't satisfied with the intimacy with that man because the truth is, I enjoyed the new experience I had. However, I have decided to forget what happened and bury the pleasurable moment I experienced earlier because I won't be seeing that man again. And even if we do meet, we won't recognize each other because it was dark while we were doing that thing. I let out a deep sigh before lying down beside Jana, who was already asleep on the bed. I forced myself to sleep, knowing that tomorrow I would face whatever new challenges I might encounter.

I don't know how many hours I slept but I suddenly woke up due to a loud knocking from outside the door. Feeling drowsy, I reluctantly got up to open the door, as the person outside was almost breaking it with the force of their knocking. As I opened the door, my eyes widened when I saw the angry face of Grandma Emilia, accompanied by Dustin and Girlie. I was about to speak and explain, but Grandma Emilia slapped me hard.

"Shame on you, Alice! I never thought you would do this to yourself! I raised you properly, but what have you done? You got drunk and had intimate contact with a man who is not your husband!" Grandma Emilia angrily exclaimed, gasping for breath, while looking at my friend who was still asleep, and at the empty tequila bottle and two glasses on the center table.

"You're mistaken, Grandma. It's not what you think," I tried to explain, but my words were cut short when I noticed that Jana was only wearing a bathrobe while sleeping, and her panties were lying at the foot of the bed. I just took a deep sigh because I'm sure Grandma Emilia assumed that the undies belonged to me.
