Chapter: Chapter 108 – Sabotage?Nathan’s POVI don’t want to let go of Amelie’s hand. I have a certain sense of calm when I can touch her. It feels like I have my missing piece. We’re getting close to the Historical site, and I know that I will have to stop holding her hand for even a few minutes as we get out of the helicopter. When you stand face to face with the possibility of losing the person who has your heart, it changes you. It makes everything so much clearer. The sound of a helicopter coming closer.“Morgan!” I shouted. “The helicopter is getting closer!”“Fuck yes!” Morgan yelled. Then she ran off to wake up Kimmy.I then saw the spotlight searching the ground. It finally landed on the tail of the plane. Then, the spotlight moved along the body of the plane until it landed on me. I waved frantically. I grinned so widely that I thought my face was going to break. My prayers had been answered.A voice came from the helicopter. Even though they were using a megaphone, I had to strain to hear it over the sound of the helicopter.“We will get you out as soon as possible,” the voice spoke. “We just need to find a place to land nearby. We’ve called for the rescue helicopter.”The helicopter turned and circled away.“Let’s close the door until they come back,” I advised Morgan. “We don’t want to lose too much heat from the plane.”

Chapter: Chapter 104 – Sit and WaitAmelie’s POVI’ve makeshift set Nancy’s ankle and fashioned a sling out of a ripped bed sheet for Captain Thomas. The extra credit first aid & survival training I took in high school sure came in handy today. Both Nancy and Thomas are lying on the bed in the back of the plane. They need to relax and stay calm. I gave them some painkillers I had in my bag, hoping they would get some sleep.We have all tried to get reception on our phones to no avail. I even tried the radio in the flight deck.I managed to open the outside door of the plane and made sure it closed back up. If no one finds us right away, it could be a very cold night.
