Alexis heaved a deep sigh. He was thankful he got past Marga's ambush. He knew she would bombard her with a lot of questions. He hated her being clingy to him, but he couldn’t just push her away as much as he wanted to for several reasons. He dismissed all his thoughts about Marga. He had his dinner date with Selena to mind. He walked to Room 3B and peeked inside. There he saw a group of girls hovering over someone. In his view, they were torturing her. "Ayan! It's ten in the evening and Selena's at her dormitory. Jean made her go home again, true to her word that she’ll push her out once she goes to work. Club activities were shortened in preparation for the upcoming quizzes by the end of the week. The students were flooding the library and nearby cafés. It was a good thing that Selena had reserved a table at Mocafé for them. She asked Jean permission for them to have their study session there, to which her manager approved. Selena served them iced coffee and cakes. “Help yourselves, guys. It’s ‘on the house’,” she said, then sat on the seat beside Kringle. Each of them took their drinks. “Wow.
