Chapter: Author's note Hey guys! We have finally reached the end of the book! To be honest, when I started writing this, I didn't think I would go as far as I did. But thanks to the encouragement I received from you guys, I was able to push on. I want to thank those who always made sure to comment under every Chapter. You have no idea how much it meant to me. I was always looking forward to reading them. And also those who voted for my story, Thank you so much. To those who liked my Chapters, thank you so much again. It really means a lot for a writer to see her readers active in her book. This is my first book on this platform, and thanks to you guys, it wouldn't be my last. (I already have an outline for my next book.)I plan on writing a few extra chapters on Elion and Aaron. Their story would be very short, but it would expand on some aspects in the story. The catch is, it can only be viewed by those who support me on my Buy Me A Coffee page. *Check out the comments section

Chapter: Epilogue Two months later...It was finally the D-day for Elena and Calhoun's wedding. It has been two months since the warriors and soldiers of the Blood kingdom and the Kingdom of Neba all returned to their kingdoms, respectively. When Elena and her husband arrived back in the Kingdom, the people shouted in joy, chanting cheers of victory. Elena felt overwhelmed by the praise. She wasn't used to that many people liking her. The past king and queen of Neba welcomed her with open arms. They had heard about what had taken place on the field, and they were extremely proud. A vigil was held for the warriors who had lost their lives in battle, and a monument with their names on it was erected in their favor. Families of the late warriors were taken under the care of the Royal family. Once they finally had some private time to themselves, Calhoun didn't waste any more time and immediately started to ravish her. He missed her; immensely. As he held her tightly in his arms, he poured

Chapter: Chapter Ninety FourElena slowly opened her eyes, trying to get her surroundings. She tried to move, but the pains that racked her body caused her to wince, advising her to remain in the position she was in.“Elena? Elena, it’s me.” A voice said to her. She tried to move her head, but it was impossible. She could only stare straight at the tent ceiling. Noticing her dilemma, the voice owner bent to look properly at her. Elena started crying once she saw the face; the tears came out slowly before they poured down like a flood.“Calhoun!” Elena said, her voice hoarse.“Yes, Darling. It’s me.” He answered. He had also teared up; the joy surrounding his heart was encompassing. “I thought... I thought you were gone.”“You stupid girl.” Calhoun said, gently removing a tendril of hair from her face. “That isn’t enough to kill me. I am the blood king remember? I might not have been as strong as Firoza, but that doesn’t mean I can’t protect myself from attacks. I have powers too.”Ele

Chapter: Chapter Ninety Three The war field was engulfed in silence. Then the screaming began. All the people who had their sense of control ripped from them fell to the ground, holding their heads in their hands and screaming their lungs out. It was like a repeat of what had happened in the kingdom of Pres, Wazir thought. Whoever had been controlling them had been killed, and from the look of things, the person had to be Slovic, the huge monster. Wazir wished to be closer to the main battle, but he knew that he was safer inside the barrier. The people there needed someone they could look up to as their main leaders fought. He looked towards the main fighting ground again and hoped that his niece was fine.Elena was panting heavily after killing the monster. The naked body of the man who she had just killed lay on the bloodied ground, his face still in shock even after death. Slowly, Elena rose from the ground as her husband rushed to support her."Are you alright?" he asked, his face drenched

Chapter: Chapter Ninety TwoShe slammed into Slovic hard, sending him flying several feet away, but she didn't cease in her assault. She was adamant about putting an end to him. His blood, his death, was the only thing that drew her attention. Firoza, she assumed, would attack her if she began to beat up her ally. On the other hand, the woman merely stayed standing, her head cocked. Her face had a thoughtful expression on it.Calhoun stood behind her, ready to intervene if she had any thoughts of retaliating against them. He was anxious about his wife, but he noticed that she had a resolute expression on her face. She wouldn't stop until Slovic was dealt with. She had no choice except to kill him herself. She needed to demonstrate her worth.Calhoun was aware of the situation. He knew that ending Slovic would be a minor inconvenience for him. In reality, he was tempted to do so because of the man's previous treatment of his wife. But he kept his cool and let his wife handle things.Slovic was perpl

Chapter: Chapter Ninety Three: Peace, Finally...The piercing scream of Luther's wife filled the air, but no one paid any attention to her. All their attention laid on Gwen, the woman who had just rescued them from the millennial reign of a mad man."What are you doing?" Tyron boomed out of nowhere. "Bow to your new leader!"Gwen turned to look at him, frowning. "What are you doing?" She whispered. "You killed the Supreme Lord of the Enu realm. You are now the new supreme lord." He said simply, shrugging. She frowned, and just as she was about to say something, Luther's wife boomed."You can't be the new leader. Not when my sons are still alive.""Your sons are barely alive," Tyron said, snickering. "Weren't you listening while I was talking? He—" he said, pointing to Luther's corpse. "Used their blood to improve his youth. Whatever he did wasn't working for him anymore, and so he turned to his own blood. Haven't you noticed something wrong with your children? Yourself even?""No!" She exclaimed, shaking her head vigorously. "You'

Chapter: Chapter Ninety Two: The End of His Reign...Gwen stepped back a bit, staring at Luther in shock."No," She whispered. Slowly, luther turned fully around, a disappointed look on his face. "This was a special day for us, why did you have to destroy it?"She swallowed, trying hard to be bold. "As I said earlier, I'd rather die than be married to you.""But I can't let that happen. And because if this foolish mistake of yours, your friends will suffer immensely."Immediately, Gwen summoned dark flames, her stance in attack mode. " I will fight you with everything I have."Luther sighed, then raised his fingers towards her. But nothing happened. Frowning, luther stared at his hands, abs Gwen stared st him, wondering what was happening. Immediately he swivels around, trying to hide himself from her, but it was too late. She already knew what happened. Her attack had worked after all. Not just in the way she expected. "You can't use your powers," she said staring at his back. "Can you?"Angrily he turned back to her, his face eer

Chapter: Chapter Ninety One: Attack...Gwen and Luther finally reached the throne. Though the woman didn’t say anything, Gwen could still much feel the scorching stare of Luther’s wife on her back. She gulped, trying to calm her nerves down. By the time she was done with her plan, anger might be the last thing the woman would feel. “I hold the supreme power in this land.” Luther began. “Therefore, it is only right that i officiate a powerful wedding such as this. You are lucky,” he said, this time whispering to her. “I never did this for my first wedding.” She gritted her teeth, imagining ways by which she could kill him. She didn’t want to marry him. It was the last thing on her mind. The plan she had imagined only required them to go so far, but she never knew that they would wed in front of everyone. If she wanted to defeat this man, she had to do so immediately, and fast. Luther turned around, urging Gwen to do the same. He ran his hand gently across her back, causing cold shivers to crawl up her skin. “People of th

Chapter: Chapter Ninety: Forced Wedding...An hour passed. The maids were done. They left the room a few minutes ago to report to the man who had hired them.Gwen stared at herself in the mirror, feeling a bit weird for he vision looking back at her.She was beautiful, no doubt, but the image wasn't what caught her attention. It was the dim light that shone from her eyes. She knew the action she was about to take. Should she fail, that would spell a fate worse than death for her. "Gwen," Sheryl said, coming up from behind her.""I am fine." Gwen answered, sighing. She looked at Tyron through the mirror. He stood at the far corner of the room, his face etched deeply in a frown, with a thick air of misery surrounding him."This is what I have to do. The fate of the realms depends on it," she said.Tyron sighed, then furiously dragged his hands through his hair."I understand, of course I understand. But why does it have to be you?"Gwen frowned slightly, cocking her head. "What do you mean?""I do not want you anywhere near that

Chapter: Chapter Eighty Nine: It Is Time..."How many times will I tell you to stop playing with your life?" Luther asked coldly, causing Gwen to grin."Wow, if I never knew how much I meant yo you before, I do now. It really does seem like inam your weakness."Luther sighed, dragging his hands through his hair. "I will let you all leave quietly, but that shouldn't mean you should take any drastic action.""Hey, Prince Luther, I have another request-""Do not push your luck." He boomed, staring coldly at Gwen. He then released a slow sigh. "Do not push your luck. I don't want to have to repeat my past mistakes. Understand?" He said with a forced grin.Gwen gulped, then glanced back at her friends and slowly let the shield down. She stayed in place, not moving an inch until Luther's guards parted for her. Slowly, they all began to walk to the entrance, and they quickly walked out of it when they reached, not bothering to pause for the supreme Lord."Gwen, what are you doing?" Sheryl asked when they had gone far from Luther."I'm

He said, walking in. Behind him were several fully armed guards, their presence ominous.Gwen and her friends moved a step back, with Gwen standing in front of them in a protective manner.Luther chuckled. "What do you think you're doing?""I wouldn't let you harm my friends." Gwen said defensively. Luther sighed, shaking his head. "You should have thought of that before you escaped.""Why are you acting like you didn't know when I left that room. You planned all this, just to follow me.""You are smart. I have never doubted that." He said, and Gwen grimaced."Fine then." He clapped his hands. "There is only one thing to do if you want your friends to be safe."Gwen's frown deepened. "And what is that?""Marry me."She chuckled. "It's like you have forgotten what I said. I would rather die than get married to you.""Well this time you'd have no choice.
