THE BLACK SHEEP

Ashara could feel the surge in her nerves sitting in the airplane. It's been four years since she left the country and it's feels so good to be going back.

She looked through the window to see how bright the sky is. If her life could be this bright from the start, she wouldn't turn to be like this. She smile looking inside the first class section and cross her leg sitting elegantly like a queen.

"Ma'am, will you like some juice?" The hostess asked. She shake her head in no then lean back and cover her eyes with the sleeping mask as she drift to sleep.

"Ma'am" Rick, Ashara's assistant calls to wake her up after a long time.

"We are landing soon" he said looking at her sleeping face.

"Oh!" She reply sitting up.

They land in Poland at around 3pm. As they got down from the plane, Ashara closed her eyes to feel the breeze of Poland again after four years. 

"It's feels good than four years ago" she breathe the air in. After four years she could see that there are so many things that has changed.

"I have changed a lot too" she thought and smile as she put on her sunglasses. Ashara has left Poland brokenhearted, despair and torned, but now she back. Not as who she is four years ago but she back for business. Rick gets the luggages and they moved on walking through the arrivals.

"Good afternoon ma'am. You must be Miss Shantel White?" A guy comes running towards them at the arrivals. Ashara is surprised to see the guy because she did not know him but she think he must be from Diamond company.

"You are?" She asked the guy, looking at him skeptically.

"I'm Brayon, assistant to the CEO of Diamond" Brayon stretch his hand for an handshake. Ashara smile knowing she right about who he is, so she take his hand.

"It's nice meeting you ma'am" Brayon said smiling.

"We have heard a lot about you and hope your coming will be great to Diamond" he look excited smiling gergeously. Brayon looks handsome, not just like an ordinary assistant but with his look, one will think he is the CEO himself. Ashara did not say anything and just smile softly as they walk through the arrivals at the airport.

Yes, she is in Poland for business with the Diamond company and that company belongs to someone she knew four years ago.

"Our CEO insisted on coming to pick you up himself" Brayon said as they walked. Ashara is a bit surprised, one of those people why she is here in Poland came to the airport to pick her?

"Unlike him" Ashara sneered secretly.

"He is waiting in the car" Brayon adds and lead them to the Range Rover parked not far. As soon as they approach the car, a man in his early thirties was standing with a pair of sunglasses as if hiding from someone, he is six feet tall, handsome, with his black parted hair combed like waves, one will think is a prince, he put off his sunglasses revealing his pairs of brown golden eye balls, he flash a gorgeous smile. 

"It's him!" The moment Ashara's see those pairs of brown golden eyes. The memories of four years flash in her mind, her heart skip a beat but she tries to look calm. If it were the Ashara four years ago, she will gets nervous seeing those eyes, but not anymore. 

"Hi" Ashara takes off her sunglasses and stretch her hand towards the CEO for an handshake. But he did not take it because he look extremely shocked to see her. 

Ashara smirked softly, she knows that he will not in his widest dream think she will turn to be Shantel White, the representative of White's groups.

"You....you" he stutters and his smiles fades away instantly.

You should not be surprise that Shawl Wanton, the poland prince charming, businesss tycoon, only heir to the Wanton's empire and most legitimate bachelor in the whole of Poland looks extremely shocked to see Ashara?

People say there is always a black sheep in the family.  Yes, that is who she is, Ashara Audrel, she was the black sheep of her family. She has always been treated badly and disfavoured, especially by her father.

Her father is the Almighty Audrel of Rust company in Poland.

Rust is a very well known company, Ashara's family is among the richest in the country, but not among the top richest though. There is nothing she does that her father likes. But her elder brother has always be pampered and favoured by everyone unlike her.

No one know why.  Maybe because she is a girl child. But it's seems to be more than that, because her father complains bitterly about her no matter what she does. 

Worst of it all, she was turn to a slave in her own father's house. Even though the Audrel family have many workers and maids in the house working for them, but Ashara is just treated worst than the maids. 

"You are a lady, you have to know all those things" Ashara's father will say to her and make her do every work in the house. Cooking, washing, cleaning virtually everything in the house.

Every time, she wonder if she is even a maid or her father's daughter. Even though she is the only daughter they had. Her mother on the other hand, seems to like her a little, but she is not sure if her mother even loves her. Because Ashara's mother will always support whatever her father says and only tell her to endure everything since she is going to get married one day. She don't know if marriage turns a person to be slave, she vows not to get married all her life if that is what marriage is.

Ashara endure everything since they are her parents and there is no one else for her. To make matter worst, her elder brother also looks down on her too. Whenever she wants to stand up to her brother to defend herself, her father will support her brother and make sure she gets punished. She will be grounded for days without food or water.

It has always been like that since Ashara was a kid. Sometimes she tries to do things that will impress her father just to make her father like her a little but Ashara's father never appreciate any of it and just put her down the more. So she stop to impress anyone and be herself.

If her brother did bad thing, it's Ashara's fault. Even if anything goes wrong in the house or in her father's company it is also her fault.

When her father's company is not doing well and is about to go bankrupt, the house becomes a living hell for her. Because according to her father, it's her bad luck that affect the company.

Before, when her father accuse her of something like that, she will cry herself to sleep everyday but she couldn't careless afterward because, she don't even know why the company going bankrupt is her fault. According to what she heard then, her brother should have a very important meeting with some investors from abroad which will help the company to be recognized internationally for a very big project. But her brother gets drunk the night before the meeting and could not make it to the meeting on time which make the investors angry and they cancel their investment. And since the company cannot shoulder the lost hence the problem. So how is that her fault?

Instead of Ashara's father to blame the brother, he says it is Ashara's bad luck that affects the company. What an irony?
