Charlotte:

By the time I reach Meadow Cross, the venue of the wedding, Stacy rushes toward me, her eyes frantic. I get out and enter the room assigned for Adeline's wedding.

It's. A. Total. Mess.

The sheer curtains are in tatters, the bouquets of flowers are slimed and blackened, the carpet on the floor is completely torn up, and all the chairs are overturned and some of them are destroyed, and the altar is spray painted.

Who would even do such a thing? I take a deep breath and call Franklin, the manager, to ask him if we can have another room.

"I'm sorry Ms. Daymond. I'm afraid they're all booked."

After hanging up, I dial my cleanup crew and tell Stacy to call all the vendors of the decorations she's used.

My cleanup crew arrives in five minutes and the arrangements come ten minutes later. I needed to pull some strings for that. As soon as the cleaning crew removes a destroyed item, we replace it with a new one. Just short of two hours, we're done.
