"Spoiled By My Boss After Marriage" begins with Ruby arriving at the Lewis Corporation's headquarters and witnessing a poor woman with a stall getting hurt by a security officer. She demands an apology from him lest she file a complaint, but he claims his brother is the HR director, to which she replies by saying she is the CEO's fiancée, which is obviously a lie.
The CEO, Leonard, overhears this, and his assistant asks if he should admonish her, but Leonard instructs him to dismiss the guard and his brother instead. It is apparent that Leonard is fazed by Ruby's beauty and elegance. She then stops the elevator that, coincidentally, Leonard and his assistant were boarding, but, despite the latter's attempt to stop her, the former orders him to allow her in. She's still wholly unaware that Leonard is the CEO, though she's a tad intimidated by his good looks and stern expression.
As she exits the elevator, she finds her current boyfriend, Yale, accompanied by Mia, whose dad is a shareholder in the company. Yale bluntly dismisses Ruby and says he wants nothing to do with her anymore and that she has always been only his "plaything". Naturally, this upsets Ruby, who proceeds to slap both Yale and Ruby in the face.
Leonard consoles her and promptly decides to hire her as his personal assistant, even with Mia's failed attempts to thwart her recruitment process by bribing the HR staff. Mia, knowing she could be in jeopardy on account of Ruby's sudden alliance with Leonard, devises a plan that involves trying to convince Leonard's mother that Ruby is no match for him. Meanwhile, even though Ruby has made lots of blunders in her role as assistant, Leonard makes a strange proposal: Marriage!
Ruby Sanders is an elegant gal with strikingly good looks and an irresistible personality. Her only "sin," for lack of a better term, is being poor, which is why she's constantly humiliated, even by her own boyfriend, who dumps her in the most disgraceful manner.
Nevertheless, despite occasionally showing weakness, she has an admirable ability to get back up after a sound defeat, and her grief over losing the man she considered the love of her life won't last very long. She would harken back to the times when she was trying to please Yale and convince him that she was "wife material," but that would change once she experiences his betrayal.
Ruby is also known for her selflessness and willingness to help those in need, as it's shown in various moments throughout the story.
Mr. Lewis, as he's often referred to, is the CEO of the powerful Lewis Corporation. As is the case with many in his position, he's a man who exerts authority and doesn't hesitate to show people who's boss. Aside from that, he's oftentimes expressionless and difficult to please. Yet, behind his unabashed countenance, there is a golden heart with a strong sense of justice and mercy. On various occasions, he can even show traces of emotion, albeit these are admittedly scarce.
Leonard would become Ruby's fiancé and protector, though at first out of interest.
Yale is a spoiled brat and a selfish prick whose only motivation is money and who doesn't really believe in such a thing as "love." He's undeservedly Ruby's boyfriend and an ungrateful one at that, unable to show appreciation for all the sacrifices she had made to earn his approval. Now, he's under his new lover's control.
Mia is Yale's lover, physically weaker than Ruby but far more wicked. She's used to bribing her way towards her goals and gaining favors using her father's influence, though that won't work on Leonard (especially considering that he's of a higher rank than Mia's father).
She wants Ruby out of the Lewis Corporation and will do anything in her power to achieve that.

"Spoiled By My Boss After Marriage" is a fascinating production with a very engaging storyline and likable (as well as intentionally unlikable) characters, filled with interesting twists without going overboard. The actors' performance may be a tad over-the-top at times, but this may be explained by the episodes being short and, therefore, having to convey as much information and drama as possible to keep the audience hooked, so it's a forgivable "offense" if we may phrase it as such.
