Resent Reject Regret is a novel full of emotions and ups and downs. Where Deirdre has endured violence, humiliation and insults for Brendan, she miscarried in prison because she was framed for a crime she did not commit. She met Brendan six years ago and saved him from almost dying in a fire, for which he vowed to love her and that he would marry her. However, Charlene had other plans, she underwent plastic surgeries to have Deirdre's face and pretend to be her so he would love her and take all her money.
But she was in a coma, so Brendan agreed to marry Deirdre to use her so no one would know that Charlene was still in a coma, because of their resemblance, no one would know they were different people. Deirdre did not understand Brendan's mistreatment, she only thought that he lied to her when he swore his love to her and then fell in love with Charlene but when she wakes up, Deirdre discovers his plan and when she wanted to let Brendan know, she is imprisoned and there she lives a real hell where she loses her sight and her son, and then two years later she meets a new love and happiness, but Brendan did not plan to let her live in peace.
Hot Chapters
The lines below managed to shock readers and leave them open-mouthed, because of Brendan's ruthlessness and insensitivity towards Deirdre's pregnancy, where he wants to force her to have an abortion, and she just wants to keep her little baby.
"When Charlene wakes up, I promise I will leave with my child, I will vanish into thin air, as if I never existed..."
"You're lucky you have that face, but I've always made it clear that the only one who would carry my child is Charlene."
"Let me keep the baby, please!"
And then, the most emotional scene for readers, where in jail, Deirdre discovers that the being she was so eagerly awaiting has been taken from her. She had lost everything.
"I lost my baby. It's still their doctor? It's so dark in here, I can't see anything, turn on the lights!"
"Let me check your eyes for a second, it could just be temporary blindness..."
Please doctor! Help me see again."
