I can tell you that as a diehard 'Pokemon' fan, Ash Ketchum has not died on screen.He has been in trouble so many times, and always makes it back. But technically speaking, he's never died.However, there's a controversial episode in 'Pokemon' movie 'I Choose You' where Ash is vanquished and then brought back to life.
