“You mean the test result is negative?” Lara asked, as if she couldn't read the report herself. Her eyes welled up with tears as she glanced at the report again. She was holding it, staring at it but still asked the doctor the question anyways. Dr JJ Smart nodded calmly. She knows the feeling of such expectation, especially from someone who'd been expecting and looking forward to getting a positive test report. She's a woman, and a mother. That feeling has never been a pleasant one. “Yes, Mrs Blake. You're not pregnant yet, the test result is negative” she replied calmly.
