DANIEL'S POINT OF VIEW As James and I chatted at the bar, I caught something out of the corner of my eye. I leaned in, speaking in a hushed tone, "James, I think we're being watched. Don't look!" I warned, as he instinctively turned to glance around. "The guy to my left, wearing a black hat, is taking pictures of me. I'm not sure how long he's been doing it, but I just noticed. Casually turn and look, but don't let him notice." James nodded, picking up his whiskey glass, and as he raised it to his lips, he discreetly glanced in the direction I indicated. His eyes widened, but he quickly masked his concern with a laugh. "It's true, he's taking pictures of both of us," he said, patting me on the shoulder.
