Elsa was busy going through the biology test papers as she walked down the hallway when she stumbled on something on the concrete floor, landing on her palms and knees as the papers went flying everywhere. A groan escaped her lips as pain shot through her palms and knees as a result of the hard fall. A loud laughter pierced through the air as though Elsa falling was the funniest thing to ever happen in history. Her jaw twitched when she heard the laughter because she knew who they belonged to. Gritting her teeth, she looked in the direction where the laughter came from and she wasn't surprised to find out that it was Sarah and Lola. Elsa's heart thumped crazily as though it would explode in the next minute. She couldn't explain why she felt so anxious when she heard the Beta's question. The Alpha twins looked at each other as if they were exchanging silent words through the mind-link then turned to look at Elsa. The gentleness that they had in their eyes earlier as they stared at her no longer existed. Instead, it was replaced by coldness. They stared at Elsa as though she had committed unforgivable sin. Elsa couldn't help it but wonder what she had done wrong to the Alpha twins to deserve such a cold stare. Was she wrong to line up among the unmated girls? Or…was it because she's an omega? Many questions buzzed her mind but she couldn't find a reasonable answer.
