His brow lifted and it seemed that his already intense gaze zeroed in on me even more. I felt my throat tighten like I was being suffocated but Mia refused to stop talking. "It's true Alpha, not only is she a cold hearted murderer, but who she killed were her own parents! She's not an innocent victim here, she's a monster!." Mia’s words rang in my ears like a death knell and I could only watch her smirk in satisfaction. I was frozen, feeling the weight of the traumatic accusation slapped in my face all over again.
