Selene’s POV “Doctor Johnson, get ready to stitch up the patient. Great work, everyone—the surgery was a success.” I step back, giving my assistant surgeon space to finish. My eyes stay fixed on him as he expertly stitches up the patient. His hands are steady, precise, and unshaken, not a trace of hesitation in his movements.
