Kiara's POV “If you leave now, I promise not to tell anyone about this. Just please leave" I cried in front of him, begging him to leave. "I am tired, don't you see? I love you to death but still beg you to leave, so please do it, please!" He was staring at me, not saying a word. "Go away!" "Okay, fine, I'll go. But if you tell anyone I'll kill you, Kiara!" Kiara's POV I was ready just in time for the meeting with Tom. I was under a lot of pressure. I didn't have any idea what was he going to tell me. I just knew it was not going to go well because we both have different opinions on everything. I stood up from my bed and walked out of my bedroom. I began walking through this endlessly long hallway. And here it is - his office. I knocked on one and waited. Nothing. I knocked again. Nothing. I opened the door with pressure and almost fell. I got myself together and straightened my back. The office was huge. It was dark - like Tom, no wonder. It was made mostly out of wood and there was a big desk in black. In front of it, there were two black chairs and a small table between them. Behind the desk was a large wooden bookshelf. Tom's POV When she left my office, I didn't want to go after her. She seemed afraid. Why did she say that? What is the reason that made her think I'll ever hit her? There was no way in the world that I'd ever hit a woman, if she doesn't give enought of a reason to do it. Vincent came into the office. "Hey, I saw Kiara, running to her room, sobbing herself. Kiara's POV As soon as I opened my eyes the next morning, I felt the excitement building inside me. I got up, took a refreshing shower, and headed to the dining room for breakfast. I enjoyed a hearty meal and sipped on some freshly brewed coffee, while I wondered what was Tom planning to do and why would he even want to take me out. I didn't want to go but he didn't give me a chance to cancel. After breakfast, I started getting ready for the place where we were going to go to. Tom's team had graciously provided a breathtaking blue dress, crafted from the most exquisite silk money could buy. The dress had no shoulders, which added a touch of elegance to the overall look. I carefully slipped into the dress, admiring the way it hugged my curves perfectly. To complete my look, I applied some makeup, focusing on highlighting my eyes and lips. Kiara’s POV As soon as Tom left my room, not letting me speak for myself again, I immediately went to remove all of that makeup from my face and put something I could finally feel like myself in.
