LOGINLike in the deck of cards, the Ace outranks the King—and so does Ace Salvatore. A Greek-Italian mafia leader feared by all, Ace is a man of unspeakable cruelty, a calculated mind ruling an empire built on blood and terror. His face is a mystery— those who’ve seen it are long gone, silenced by his wrath. Manipulative, controlling, psychotic, and untouchable, he rules his empire with an iron fist, his past buried beneath layers of bloodshed and regret. His obsession with power and control leaves no room for weakness—not in himself, not in his enemies, and certainly not in others. When a desperate debtor can’t repay what’s owed, he offers something unexpected to settle the score: a little girl. Ace accepts the deal, not out of need, but because curiosity flickers in his mind— a curiosity he loathes. Yet the little girl is more than just an innocent. She unknowingly awakens ghosts of Ace’s past— a life of betrayal, loss, and secrets he swore to bury. Even monsters have scars. The darkness that shaped him, the wounds he carries, and the revenge that fuels his every decision begin to resurface. The past never truly stays buried. As their worlds collide, her presence becomes both his salvation and his torment. But as the past catches up, threatening to destroy everything, Ace must face a harrowing choice: cling to the monster he’s become, or risk everything for the one thing he never thought he’d have— a chance at redemption. Will his darkness consume her and change her? Or will she destroy him?

Recently, life has been fucking me over in so many ways than one. It was as if I had a personal beef with life and it just wouldn't give me a fucking break. I am a she-wolf and you'd think I had the good stuff but you'd be sorely mistaken. I lived under the oppressive rule of step siblings who despised everything about me. They hated everything, even the very air I breathe because of fabricated reasons and lowered my status down to their slave. My blood sister and their parents died in a ghastly accident and they blamed me for it. Apparently, to them I was bad luck and an unfortunate person that brought gloom and doom everywhere I went despite the numerous times that I cried about my innocence. The most pathetic thing was that there was nothing I could do about it. I was just an adopted child raised by their parents who treated me fairly well considering the fact my late mother had an affair with their father. Now, this is where it gets really bad and also really interesting. On my step sister's birthday. I had found my destined mate and I thought life would be a bit easier, but my step sister claimed him for herself and here's the kicker, he was the alpha of our pack. I was pressured to accept the rejection because according to the pack, I wasn’t fit to rule and my step sister was a far better choice. I could still remember that day as if it was yesterday, how broken and helpless I had felt, how my heart had been shattered into a gazillion pieces and the pain of the rejection nearly drove me to madness. In the end, I had settled to drinking heavily at a local bar, determined to use the alcohol to drown my sorrows. Leaning against the stained walls, I clutched my glass of tequila, my sixth in the last hour which was a new all time record for me. The numbness I sought after eluded me however, no matter how hard I hunted it. I wanted to drown away my sorrows, trying to forget about the Alpha choosing my sister over me and tears, hot stinging tears dripped down my cheeks as I drank more tequila to numb the pain. As my vision began to blur a little, I spotted a man sitting a few seats away. A very, extremely handsome man. He had long dark hair and a pair of heavenly blue eyes that made you feel like you were sinking into them. Our eyes met and I didn't know how he did or if he even did anything but some effects of the tequila vanished and I gulped nervously. “Mind if I join you?” He had closed the distance between us and technically joined me even before I could accept his request. I shrugged and continued my drinking spree, doing my best to ignore this hot stranger who looked like he had stepped out of a magazine. “To be honest, I'm here looking for a good time.” He leaned in and whispered into my ears, his hot breath making the hairs on my neck stand, either in shock or arousal… I wasn’t sure yet. “Well, you found the right place then.” I didn't even realize what I was saying before the words stumbled out of my mouth but… why not? We exchanged a few more words, him complimenting me and I was flirting back. I was usually a shy person but under the strong effect of alcohol, that shyness took a back seat and I was in my element, not really in my element but yeah you get the point. One thing lead to the other and the dude's mouth was on mine, ravaging them like it was his property. Like he had been in the desert, starved of water for months and my mouth was the only oasis that could quench his thirst. The funny thing was that I barely resisted, I gave myself up just like that. Then he tore my dress and I swear, I thought we teleported but I found myself in a hotel in record time and the rest of the night was suddenly a blur. ****** “Good morning beautiful. You were incredible last night.” His deep husky voice was the first thing I heard when I woke up this morning. . I opened my eyes and turned, staring at his magnificent form, he was seated and wearing only shorts and his bare chest was on display. My eyes dipped lower and I gasped when I saw his… mighty sword still proudly standing. “Wait.” I checked myself and I realized to my absolute horror, I was completely naked and the bedstains on the bed confirmed my worst fears, I was no longer a virgin. Tears welled up in my eyes. I had just fucking lost my virginity to… to… to a man that I didn't even know. I didn’t even know his name! Today and yesterday was officially crowned the worst day of my lentire life. I tried to formulate words but it was no use, I broke down instead, crying my eyes out but then, I felt his strong hands pull me in for a warm hug, his heartbeat felt nice and the way the heat from his body flowed into mine calmed me down. *I didn't know you were a virgin, I wouldn't have touched you at all if that was the case.” He said sweetly, raising my head to stare into his eyes. “regardless, I was gentle with you.’ Again, I couldn't form words. It was like my brain turned to mush anytime I stared at him and I didn't know what to say or do. This was a crazy situation to be in. And then, he leaned and claimed my lips once more in a soft kiss. Why did I only notice it now?Ace chuckled—low, knowing."Do your work like a good whore," he murmured, his tone silky but laced with steel. "And show me your devotion, brat."He leaned back, and the pressure of his hands, which had been a constricting comfort around my body, vanished. Like a snake
I blinked, my breath hitching, frustration curling inside my chest."Please…" The whisper left me before I could stop it, before I could hold onto my pride. My head dipped down, shame curling my shoulders inward as I bit down on my lower lip. "Just one kiss. Even a peck."Ace clicked his tongue, th
“Don’t expect me to treat you like a good girl till I believe you’re sorry, Iris,” he murmured, his tone dark and taunting. Before I could process it, his thumb shoved past my lips, forcing them apart. My eyes flew wide, a muffled “Hmph” escaping as my hands shot up, fingers digging into his knees
“Sit on your knees.”…What?I froze. My smile slipped, and a soft “Huh?” escaped me before I could stop it.The warmth I’d felt a second ago twisted into something heavier, sharper, and I blinked at him, caught off guard.“You heard me, my sweet whore,” he said, leaning back with a smirk that stretc
Damn it, Iris. Play it cool! His gaze didn’t waver. “May I know what you are doing here?”I cleared my throat. “Uh… just… passing by?”He arched a brow.I let out a nervous laugh and gestured to the air. “You know, just… admiring the architecture?”Then, he tilted his head toward the slightly open d
Then at the lady.Their expressions?Blank. Unbothered. Like this was totally normal. The soft hum of the lift was the only sound as we kept descending. -10. -11. -12.By -15, I was officially losing it.“How deep is this thing?” I muttered under my breath. No reaction.Of course. Because everyone
I lost my balance and fell straight on my butt, landing with a oof.“Stop” I groaned, clutching my hip like an old woman.Did they care?Absolutely not. They wiggled their tails harder and shoved their big happy heads against my arm and stomach, whining and nuzzling me like I was their long-lost sib
No reaction. No words. Just stared.I tilted my head, mirroring their expression. If this was a staring contest, I refused to lose.“What if you get punished for this, huh?” My voice dipped lower, taking on a dark, foreboding edge. “I heard your boss is merciless when someone upsets him.”Still, no
